Description: The PowerPlex ® ESX and ESI Systems meet the new ENFSI<br />
recommendations for DNA profile sharing across Europe. They are based on<br />
five-color technology and allow co-amplification and detection of D3S1358,<br />
D8S1179, D18S51, D21S11, FGA, TH01, vWA, D2S441, D10S1248, D22S1045,<br />
D1S1656, D12S391, D2S1338, D16S539, D19S433, SE33 and Amelogenin.<br />
These kits are available in multiple formats, including the option to detect<br />
SE33, to accommodate various requirements or preferences. Additionally, the<br />
kits have increased tolerance to common inhibitors and increased sensitivity<br />
to obtain full profiles from low-level DNA and are robust enough to genotype<br />
degraded DNA samples through the use of mini-STR loci. This system is compatible<br />
with ABI PRISM ® 310, 3100 and 3100-Avant Genetic Analyzers and<br />
Applied Biosystems 3130, 3130xl, 3500 and 3500xL Genetic Analyzers.<br />

for download. The PowerTyper ESX and ESI Macros (available separately)<br />
facilitates data analysis, allowing automatic assignment of genotypes using<br />
the Genotyper ® software.<br />
