Setting Quick Select Options
The Quick Select window displays these aliases in the Statistics
panel and Create/Edit Filters dialog box for easy identification
during analysis and troubleshooting.
NOTE: User-defined settings are stored in the alias file
(aliases.adr), which is located at C:\Program
Files\NetScout\Sniffer Adaptive Application Analyzer\bin.
Preconfigured settings are stored in the aliases.xml file at the
same location.
To create an alias:
1 From the Alias tab, select the type of Alias you would like to create
from the Type: drop down list.
2 Enter the IP address, port, or protocol in the Address field.
3 Assign and enter a name in the Alias field and click the Add button.
4 If you are creating a Group alias, the Alias field remains populated
with the existing Group alias. You can enter a new member of the
Group and click the Add button to add it to the Group alias.
5 Click OK.
