EARLY FIELD TRIAL Chapter 4 102 Sniffer Adaptive Application Analyzer You can use the Show Conversation Reciprocals option in the rightclick context menu to specify that the Statistics panel provide two entries for this conversation – one with 192.168.1.25 in the IP Address A column and one with 192.168.1.50 in the IP Address A column. When you enable this feature, the data for each conversation is shown twice – once in each row. However, this feature does provide you with a means of seeing all addresses participating in conversations in a single column. NOTE: By default, this feature is only available in the Conversations tab. However, if you modify one of the other tabs to include an Address B column so that the tab ends up showing conversations (for example, you add a MAC Address B column to the MAC Address tab), the feature becomes available. EARLY FIELD TRIAL Resolving DNS Names Using the Statistics Panel You can resolve DNS names on either a selected IP address or all IP addresses visible in the Statistics panel. Right-click an IP address in the Statistics panel and select the Resolve DNS Name command to perform a DNS lookup of the selected IP address. Right-click in a Statistics panel tab displaying IP addresses and select the Resolve Visible DNS Names command to perform DNS lookups on all IP addresses visible in the display. In both cases, the name(s) returned from the DNS (if any) will be substituted for the IP address(es) in Statistics panel displays.
