How to use
The operation of BIOMUTO is extremely simply.
Please go through the following steps one after the other.
1. Switching the set on – on the front panel
After the power switch on, the BIO MUTO is immediately ready for operation.
2. Turn all intensity dial off – If intensity dial is on and treatment is not running.
3. To set the treatment time use the Time S/W to increase the time.
4. Select program with button in Mode.
5. Select Frequency with frequency dial.
6. Attach suitable electrode and Keep the face of transducer in contact with
the treatment area.
7. Turn on the stimulator output control and slowly increase the intensity until
the patient just feels the normal.
8. Turn on the ultrasound output. The patient may feel a slight increase to the
sensation. Set the intensity to the required level.
9. By using the intensity dial from zero, the unit is started immediately.
10. When the treatment time reaches zero, then unit will give alarm.
At the end of treatment, remove the transducer from the treatment area.
11. Turn off the all intensity dial.
If you should “lose your way” can not get out by error, simply switch the unit
off and begin again.

Safety Precautions
Must not be applied to brain, backbone, eye, heart, testicles, ovary, pregnant
womb, good or bad tumor and tuberculosis.
Not suitable for the application to the following : bleeding, circulation troubles
( thrombus arterial sclerosis, etc.), acute inflammation of joint and bone,
suppuration of soft tissues, etc.
Patients with Heart pacemakers bad/or other electronic implants
Electro stimulation therapies or diagnoses should never be employed on
patients with electronic implants, such as heart pacemakers, without obtaining
prior approval of a specialist.

1. What is Ultrasonic Wave?
The sound humans can hear is called audible sound.
It’s range covers 300Hz to 3,400Hz. There is no definite boundary between audible sound and
ultrasonic wave. Using these senses they can even detect the difference between metal and
wood.
Physiotherapists use ultra sonic wave every day. The waves vibrate the molecules, which
causes heat and stimulates lymph and blood vessels. This physiological action then speeds up
the healing process by draining toxins and increasing nutrients and oxygen to the tissues.
2. Using Ultrasonic Wave in skin care
Ultrasonic Wave Massager of BIO MUTO output 1 MHz (1 million Hz) per second.
This causes a fine vibration of the cells within the tissues, penetrating the subcutaneous layers
by as much as 5 cm .
The physiological effect of this is, stimulation of blood and lymphatic vessels including
circulation of both within 10 minutes. It also increases metabolism and mitotic activity as it
energizes the cells.
Different frequencies produce different results.
The Ultrasonic Wave Massager of BIO MUTO has various settings; massage, whitening, wrinkle

4. What is low frequency?
Low-frequency is what stimulate the skin by constant current

6. What is BIO MUTO?
BIO MUTO is a treatment that combines iontophoresis and sonophoresis using specially ionized skin
peeling medicine and vitamins.
Although vitamins were proved to be highly effective in reducing damaged skin, it was impossible for them
to deeply penetrate the skin.
Because our skin is protected by an outer layer, merely applying any products to the skin does not
lead to the expected results, no matter how good the product is.
‘Vital iont’ treatment is widely used, which uses an iontophoresis appliance that penetrates vitamin C into
the skin cell and tissue.
BIO MUTO is a treatment, which has further enhanced the effectiveness of the vital iont treatment.
BIO MUTO makes a dramatic change to the skin.
It adopts both existing iontophoresis and sonophoresis, which uses the optimum frequency for the
penetration into the skin. It has increased the penetration of nutrients into the skin by 4000%.
It uses what is known to be most effective in curing photoaging, such as, vitamins A, C and E, beta
carotene and AHA. By applying these nutrients at an optimum rate BIO MUTO helps skin to be healthy.

7. What is Laser?
Prior to the treatment the assessment of the skin condition or problems
(for example, the photosensitivity, hyper pigmentation, hypertrophic cicatrix, keloid and any inflammation)
as well as the overall health condition is required
The light from laser for the treatments of diseases related to the pigment and the blood vessel and
of the hair restoration is harmful to the eye.
During the treatment both the patient and the laser operator must wear protective spectacles.
As the retina does not feel the pain, when exposed to the light from laser, the patient may firstly
feel the vision impeded.
Different lasers produce different wavelengths.
Each laser needs protective spectacles that blocks the wavelength of light the laser emits.
Prior to treatment make-up or sun block cream need to be completely removed, as they may affect the
penetration of the laser.
After the treatment, the patient progresses at various rates depending on the type of laser used for the
treatment.
In every case the patient must avoid exposing the laser treated area to the sun and apply sun-block
cream to the area.
Particularly, hyper pigmentation may occur to Koreans’ skin. Before and after the treatment, if required,
it is recommended that Koreans apply ointments to the laser treated area, which help to whiten and
restore the skin.
* Blood vessel related disease
1. Blood vessel related disease changes the color of the skin to blue immediately after the treatment.
Pigment related disease colors the skin to grey or the color of a bruise (purple or brown)
immediately after the treatment. It is clear for several hours after the treatment.
Gradually the colors fade away and disappear one or two weeks later.
2. Patents can put on make-up as scabs are not formed on the face.
The patient may use the make-up base with the green color tone to cover the bluish color on the
face caused by the treatment.
* Pigment related disease
1. Pigment related disease (such as spots, freckles and other specks)
disappears one week after treatment when the scab falls off.
Flash wash and light make-up are allowed three days after the treatment when the scab is settled in.
2. Avoid the sun. When outside, apply the sun-block product with a sun protection factor (SPF) of more
than 15.
3. Apply an anti-inflammatory ointment once or twice a day.
4. Do not rub the treated area with a towel or a scrubber as the area is extremely sensitive.
5. Do not take aspirins or other medicine that contain aspirin during the initial healing period,
that is for one to two weeks after the treatment.

6. Avoid playing strenuous sports such as swimming until the skin is completely healed.
* Skin care after laser face peeling
1. Two to four weeks prior to the laser peeling, apply a pre-treatment ointment. This pre-treatment
ointment removes pigments and facilitates the skin restoration, properly preparing the skin for
the laser peeling and controlling pigmentation after the treatment.
2. When the swelling is severe, low the head to reduce it for two or three days.

3. While the laser treated area is healing, take sufficient water and deep sleep.
Make sure that the room is not dry.
4. Make sure not to skip the medicine prescribed by the doctor.
5. Visit the clinic on the scheduled day to check the skin condition
and have the skin restoration treatment.
6. Use only the face cleanser and the moisturizer that the doctor has prescribed after the laser peeling.
7. To protect the skin from the sun put on a hat and an ultraviolet protection cream.

workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. This limited warranty is valid only in the United
Kingdom
If any problem should occur, please try to resolve the problem first by contacting the place from which you

The parts of the specified product are available for a period of 3 years from the date of discontinuation of the
