This indicates that age influences place of delivery, as the older the woman becomes the higher the chances of delivering at home. This indicates that these women who had sudden onset of labour could also be due to low knowledge on signs and symptoms of labour. 23

Whereas 87(45.3%) of mother deliver in health units on their preference. This indicates that health workers can influence mother to have a choice of place of delivery. 24
