1. BP more than 140/90 mmHg<br />

2. Height below 150cm<br />

3. Bleeding during pregnancy/ delivery / postpartum<br />

4. Mal-presentations<br />

5. Pre-mature labour<br />

6. Grand multiparity more than 5 deliveries<br />

7. Previous complicated delivery (assisted delivery either C/S or Vacuum<br />

Extraction) i.e. obstructed labour/dystocia<br />

8. Anaemia Hb below 10gm/dl<br />

9. Prime parity - 1 st pregnancy<br />

10. Pregnancy at younger ages below 16 years.<br />

11. Perennial tears/lacerations<br />

Knowledge category scale<br />

High knowledge - if respondents mention 6 and above maternal risks<br />

correctly.<br />

Average knowledge - if respondents mention 3 - 5 maternal risks correctly<br />

Low knowledge - if respondent mention 0 - 2 maternal risks correctly.<br />
