Memory Allocation
This section describes how to allocate memory.
Depending on the use, you can allocate memory in this machine according to the memory
types in the table. The memory types that can be allocated may be different according to the
optional products installed.
Print page buffer
PCL memory

Except for print page buffer, memory allocation of the other memory types can be done
either through the touch panel display or CentreWare Internet Services. Memory allocation
will change when power is on or system is reset.

Print page buffer

Receive buffer
This is the area for drawing the actual print image. The area to be allocated to
print page buffer will be the remaining area after all other memory types have
been allocated. As such, the capacity of print page buffer cannot be changed
directly. The actual capacity allocated for print page buffer can be checked under
Memory of the System Settings List. You can also use CentreWare Internet Services
to check.
To print high-resolution document, configure your settings to increase the capacity
of the print page buffer.

When using the Page Print Mode of the PCL printer driver, you need to install at least 192 Mbyte of
