Scanning With Mailbox 3 210 3.6 Changing Network <strong>Scanner</strong> Utility Settings Configuring how to import scanned data You can change the way of importing and displaying documents when importing documents from the mailbox. Configure the way to import documents from the dialog box displayed by clicking the Setting button on the dialog box for selecting the documents to be imported. Configure the necessary settings by referring to the explanation below: Import Order Specifies the order of importing documents. When New → Old is set, documents will be imported from the bottom document if Display Mode is set as By file and from the last page of the bottom document if set as By page. When Old → New is set, the order will be reversed. Display Mode Sets whether to display the scanned documents in the mailbox by file or by page. When the application program used does not support documents with multiple pages, select By page to import the pages one by one. Negative Image Reverses the white and black portions of black and white images. Use this feature when you want the document imported from the application program to be a negative image. Settings are invalid in the case of images read as full color images or grayscale images. Add Display Items Add the following items to the Document Settings screen. The added items may not be displayed depending on the machine model. File Name Location: The sender's Email address on the Email Document.
3.6 Changing Network <strong>Scanner</strong> Utility Settings Temporary Save as Specifies the temporary directory for saving documents in the process of being imported. If possible, specify a directory with a large capacity. In order to connect to scanners in other networks, communication by TCP/IP is needed. When the network scanner driver is used together with Able Model PR II or DocumentCentre Series scanner drivers, use their respective specific directories for Temporary save.
