acetic acid salt spray test, for
example. When our experts test the
quality of Audi Genuine Accessories
wheels, they are just as innovative as
our designers. Intense heat, high
humidity, strong sunlight – there is
practically no limit to the number of
possible tests. But the most extreme
endurance test is the copper accelerated
acetic acid salt spray test, known
as CASS. In the test, wheels which
have been previously damaged by
simulated stone chips are sprayed
with this extremely corrosive solution
for several days. Yet they must overcome
all these challenges without
visible adverse effects - so that even
after many miles, you can be as
thrilled by the design of your Audi
Genuine Accessories wheels as you
were on the first day.

1 Front spoiler with blade
Made to measure for you: the blade is primed in the
factory and can be painted in one of the many colours of
your choice. In body colour, too, of course. Also available
in aluminium look. (Only available in conjunction with
the tailgate spoiler or roof edge spoiler).
2 Rear diffuser with blade
Available in aluminium look or in a colour of your choice.
3 Rear spoiler
The rear spoiler gives a sporty impression to the rear of
the vehicle. It perfectly complements the rear diffuser
with blade.
Sports-style tailpipe trims
Twin design. Made from chrome-plated stainless steel.
Available for the A4 predecessor model with 4-cylinder
engine, colour variants: silver and black.

1 Cycle rack for the trailer towing hitch
Lockable rack for up to 2 cycles with a maximum load of
60 kg. Optional: the extension kit for a third cycle. Easy
mounting thanks to a simple plug-in mechanism. The
cycle rack can be folded away in a few simple steps to
open the luggage compartment. The rack can be easily
folded and can then be stored away in the carrier
supplied, thereby saving space.
2 Cycle mount
The cycle mount, made from a specially-shaped aluminium
profile and powder-coated steel, enables the bicycle
to be mounted to the vehicle particularly easily. Lockable.
Maximum load 17 kg. (Can only be used in conjunction
with the carrier unit).
3 Cycle fork mount
Easy to handle. Lockable. Suitable for cycles with a
quick-action lock on the front wheel. Maximum load
17 kg. (Can only be used in conjunction with the carrier

4 Trailer towing hitch
Removable and lockable, sphere bar made from forged
steel, the 13-pin socket can be swivelled out of sight
behind the bumper skirt; when removed, the sphere bar
can be stored in the spare wheel well.

Audi Entertainment mobile is setting new standards in terms of entertainment quality. A range of
connection options provide a huge amount of flexibility and the newly-designed holder means
that the system can even be used outside the vehicle. The other navigation and communications
options are, of course, also worth a look.
1 Audi Entertainment mobile
The second generation Rear Seat Entertainment is a
9-inch screen with an integral DVD player. It is to be
installed on the front seat backrests. Excellent picture
quality due to the digital high-resolution screen, offers
a high level of functionality and a variety of devices that
can be connected to it, such as the Bluetooth headset
(sold separately). The new holder for mobile end devices
makes it both easy to connect and useable outside the
vehicle. Prerequisite: Rear Seat Entertainment fitting in
the vehicle.
2 Bluetooth headset
The headset is the ideal complement to the Audi Entertainment
mobile. It can be easily folded and can then
be practically stored away in the carrier supplied. The
rechargeable batteries can be used for up to 15 hours.
3 Adapter cables for Audi music interface*
Enable connection of various iPod models and other
portable media players. Operation via the MMI system,
if the function is supported by the media player.

4 Bluetooth hands-free facility
Reproduction using vehicle sound system. Voice control
for all functions and without prior training. Connection
to up to 5 different contact lists. Reception and display
of text messages if this function is supported by the

Mobile phone adapter*
Connection with the exterior antenna enables telephone
conversations to take place without the person having to
be exposed to much radiation. Enables the battery to be
charged and the mobile phone to be safely stored during

Navigation update*
23 GB of new map material with new content, e.g.
terrain models, improved graphics, 3D representation of
points of interest; easier to connect to real surroundings.
More convenient and a more relaxed driving

safety harness provides improved restraint, whilst

of the belt is made with just one move of the hand.

guidance. The backrest is adjustable in height and width.
Adaptations can be made via a viewing window for size

All child seats are available in the combinations classic

The velcro fastener enables the baby mirror to be easily
attached to the rear seat head restraints. This allows the
driver to keep an eye on the baby in the rear-facing baby
seat. The viewing angle can be adjusted individually.

The comfort cushion and blanket, neck supports, cocoon
blanket and baby comfort sack offer a feeling of security
for your child. The Audi plush steering wheel, comfort
cloth, baby toy chain and cuddly animal ensure fun and

bats about
parking?
Quite a lot, we would say. Like navigating
using ultrasonic signals.
Bats use this technique to get their
bearings in even the toughest terrain,
with impressive accuracy. So it is
obvious that Audi would make use of
the same principle for its parking
system which can be retrofitted to
assist you with parking and manoeuvring.
The 4 sensors in the bumpers,
which can be painted over, alternately
send ultrasonic signals which are
reflected back by obstacles. The
retrofit kit is individually calibrated to
achieve an extremely precise system
in the relevant zone between 1.40 m
and 30 cm. This ensures that the
trailer towing hitch from Audi
Genuine Accessories, for example,
does not cause the system to misdetect
obstacles. So ultrasonic signals
get the bat to its destination
and your Audi safely into the parking
space.
