What happens to a man when he comes back from overseas is of<br />

<strong>the</strong> utmost importance to him-and to <strong>the</strong> Army <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong>s. Already<br />

air force men are returning at <strong>the</strong> rate of several thousand a month.<br />

More will follow as replacements are sent to relieve veterans, or as<br />

combat units are shifted from one <strong>the</strong>ater to ano<strong>the</strong>r. To get <strong>the</strong><br />

true facts and to spike some wild rumors, AIR FORCE submitted a series<br />

of questions to Maj. Gen. Hubert R. Harmon, Commanding General of <strong>the</strong><br />

new Personnel Distribution Command (AFPDCl. Most of <strong>the</strong> questions came<br />

from men still overseas. Here <strong>the</strong>y are with General Harmon's answers.<br />
