Supervisor friolkon disregards anger Jaokson's room-
meaatlions as to the condition of the range (within the
Umpqua) it 1916, when be, Erickson, sayst "The Abbott range,
inoluting Cow Caup, was as fully stocked last year as I
would care to see it." Ir. friekson does not state definite-
ly whether he made a personal examination of the Umpqua range,
or took the report of someone else, or if anyone from his
oretst really made an examination in 1916 to support the
above statement.
Piforring again to Supervisor Erickson's letter
of April 10, 1916, wherein he states in part as follows:
