In <strong>the</strong> paragraph immediately preceding thi^s,<br />

<strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong> Britain was imp<strong>of</strong>ed upon <strong>the</strong> illand<br />

when <strong>the</strong> Cimbri were yet in Gaul, and before<br />

<strong>the</strong>y migrated into Britain. " <strong>The</strong> Cimbri—<br />

" arriving in Belgium.^ .and defcrying Albion,<br />

*' gave it a new name— , comparing <strong>the</strong> elevated<br />

" coaft <strong>of</strong> Britain to <strong>the</strong> fenny plains <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Lower<br />

" Germany." But it is here fixed after <strong>the</strong><br />
