LEADER HEADING INTO BUILT FORD TOUGH CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND – In 14 of the 26 regular<br />

format events in 2012, the leader heading into the Built Ford Tough Championship Round finished first in the<br />

event. In the 27 regular format events in 2011, the leader heading into the championship round won the event 19<br />

times, including six of the last seven, and eight of the last 10. Here is how the leader has fared in 2013:<br />

LEADER FROM START TO FINISH – J.B. Mauney, Austin Meier, and Fabiano Vieira were the only riders<br />

to lead an event from start to finish in 2012. Mauney accomplished this in Baltimore and Greensboro. In<br />

Baltimore, he won Round 1 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round and tied for first in Round 2. In<br />

Greensboro, he tied for first in Round 1 and won the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. Vieira did it in<br />

San Antonio, winning Round 1, the Built Ford Tough Short Round, and Round 3. In the 27 regular BFTS<br />

format events in 2011, a rider led from start to finish four times. Meier accomplished it in Philadelphia, winning<br />

Round 1, the Built Ford Tough Short Round, and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. Shane Proctor is<br />

the only rider to accomplish the feat this year, while in Winston-Salem.<br />
