CELEBRATING 20 YEARS - The PBR is celebrating 20 years of competition in 2013. PBR broadcasts reach<br />
over half a billion households in 50 nations and territories around the world, and over 2.5 million fans attend<br />
PBR events each year. PBR has awarded more than $120 million dollars in prize money over 20 years of<br />
competition, including a $1 million dollar bonus to the PBR World Champion each year.<br />
LUCKY NUMBER 13 - This is the fifth year in a row, and the 13th time since 1999, that the PBR Built Ford<br />
Tough Series has visited <strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong>. This will be the 35th stop in <strong>Oklahoma</strong> with two more scheduled in<br />
2013 - Tulsa, Okla. on Aug. 17-18 at the BOK Center, and Thackerville, Okla. at the WinStar World Casino on<br />
Aug. 30-31. The PBR made 12 stops in Guthrie, Okla., from 1996-2004, including two stops in 1996, 1997, and<br />
1998.

FORMAT – Each of the 35 riders will ride on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Following Round 3 on Sunday,<br />
up to 15 riders will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. The championship round will have<br />
a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 riders. <strong>Riders</strong> who have ridden two bulls will advance to compete with<br />
one more bull. In the event that fewer than 10 riders ride two bulls, the riders with the highest score or the<br />
longest buck-off time will advance. In the event that more than 15 riders ride two bulls, the 15 riders with the<br />
highest cumulative scores will advance. The overall event winner will be the rider with the highest combined<br />
score from all three rounds, earning $30,000 for first place.<br />
ROUND 1 IS ABBI CLASSIC EVENT - <strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> will be the first American Bucking <strong>Bull</strong> Inc. Classic<br />
event of 2013. There will be 35 bulls competing for a prize purse of more than $30,000 in Round 1 on Friday.<br />
The ABBI, which introduces young bucking bulls at select BFTS and Touring Pro events, is dedicated to<br />
unifying, developing and promoting the bucking bull industry through pedigree preservation; enhancement and<br />
promotion of bucking bull ownership, breeding, and welfare; and development of programs and events<br />
showcasing the world's finest bucking bull stock. The ABBI is the third-largest cattle registry and is set up to<br />
record and preserve the pedigrees of the world's premier bucking bulls.<br />
BONUS BULL – This week’s Round 1 winner will face off with 20U - Shepherd Hills Tested - Luthy /<br />
Duckwall / D&H Cattle / Shepherd Hills Cutlery for $3,000 Friday night. The Previous Event winner, Shane<br />
Proctor in Winston-Salem, will face off with D05 - Flint - Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Dallas<br />
Schott Saturday night for $3,000. Bonus <strong>Bull</strong> Points are 100 + the ride score.<br />
MONSTER ENERGY MONEY BULL – Monster Energy is sponsoring a “Monster Energy Money <strong>Bull</strong>” at<br />
nine Built Ford Tough Series events. Seven of the matchups will be a randomly-selected bull in the PBR 15/15<br />
Bucking Battle (Jan. 18 at Winston-Salem, N.C.; Feb. 1 at Sacramento, Calif.; Feb. 23 at Kansas <strong>City</strong>, Mo.;<br />
April 6 at Billings, Mont.; April 20 at Des Moines, Iowa; Sept. 20 at Biloxi, Miss.; and Oct. 4 at Fayetteville,<br />
N.C.). The remaining two will be a randomly-selected bull in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round at the<br />
Monster Energy Invitational in New York and the LiftMaster Invitational in Anaheim, Calif., on Feb. 8-10. The<br />
Monster Energy Money <strong>Bull</strong> begins at $6,000, and will continue to increase by $6,000 each time a rider fails to<br />
reach 8 seconds. The payout will also include the $3,000 from each time a rider does not reach 8 seconds on a<br />

POSSIBLE POINTS – There are 1,200 possible points available in <strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> as the winner of the event<br />

PBR BUILT FORD TOUGH WORLD FINALS – The Built Ford Tough Series season will conclude Oct.<br />
23–27 in Las Vegas with the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals, where the PBR World Champion will be<br />
crowned and awarded a $1 million bonus. The richest bull riding event in the world, the World Finals has a total<br />
purse of more than $2 million.<br />
HEROES AND LEGENDS – The PBR Heroes & Legends Celebration Reception will be held from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at<br />
South Point, and will be immediately followed by the PBR Heroes & Legends Celebration from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The<br />
ceremony will include the induction of the 2013 Ring of Honor member(s), and the presentation of the Brand of Honor,<br />
the Jim Shoulders Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Sharon Shoulders Award. The PBR Built Ford Tough World<br />

ALVES MAKES HISTORY – Silvano Alves is the first rider in history to win back-to-back Built Ford Tough<br />
Series World Championships, earning the titles in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, Alves became the first rider to win<br />
the World Championship the year after winning the Rookie of the Year title. Adriano Moraes won the first title<br />
in 1994, and became the first two-time winner in 2001. He became the only three-time winner in 2006. The<br />
other two-time World Champions are Chris Shivers (2000 and 2003) and Justin McBride (2005 and 2007).<br />
METEROIC CLIMB ON MONEY LIST – Alves has earned more than $3.3 million, and ranks fifth in career<br />
earnings. He reached $3 million faster than any bull rider in history, achieving it in 76 events and 28 months.<br />
He also reached $2 million (23 months and 58 events), and $1 million (18 months and 47 events) faster than any<br />
other rider.<br />
TELEVISION BROADCAST – CBS Sports will broadcast Round 1 at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 26, and<br />
Round 2 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 27. (Please Check Local<br />
Listings). Saturday will be a “Pure PBR” broadcast with Brandon Bates, Two-time PBR World Champion<br />
Justin McBride, and Dickies® Dura<strong>Bull</strong>fighter Shorty Gorham. Sunday’s broadcast will have Clint Adkins
providing the play-by-play, filling in for Craig Hummer, who is recovering from a cycling accident. Color<br />
commentary will be provided by McBride, and dirt-level interviews will be handled by Leah Garcia. BFTS<br />
telecasts are produced for the PBR by David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led<br />
by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer<br />

WORLD CHAMPION ASTEROID – Making his debut last weekend in the PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle at<br />
Winston-Salem, N.C., picking up a bull score of 46 after bucking off 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme<br />
Marchi. Asteroid (Circle T Ranch & Rodeo) was 16-1 in 2012, and won the World Champion <strong>Bull</strong> title at the<br />
PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals. He had the highest score in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round<br />
with 46.50 points, out of a possible 50 points, and tied Bushwacker for high score in Round 1 with 46.75 points.<br />
Asteroid had the three highest, and 10 of the Top 20 bull scores in 2012. He registered the highest score of the<br />
year in with 47.50 points, bucking off two-time World Champion Silvano Alves in 1.81 seconds at the PBR<br />
15/15 Bucking Battle at Sacramento, Calif., in January, and Valdiron de Oliveira in 2.33 seconds at the PBR<br />
15/15 Bucking Battle at Tampa, Fla., in September. Asteroid had the third-highest score of the year with 47.25<br />
points after bucking off Stormy Wing in 1.99 seconds in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round at Des<br />
Moines, Iowa. He won the Pabst Blue Ribbon Award for being the high-marked bull at regular season events<br />
five times (Anaheim, Atlanta, Des Moines, Nashville, Philadelphia). He had two of the Top 10 bull scores in<br />
2011, and was the high-marked bull at four consecutive events in Tulsa, San Antonio, Springfield, Mo., and<br />
Milwaukee.<br />
BUSHWACKER CONTINUES TO RECEIVE HIGH MARKS – Scheduled to make his debut in <strong>Oklahoma</strong><br />
<strong>City</strong> this weekend in the Championship Round on Sunday. 2011 PBR World Champion <strong>Bull</strong> Bushwacker (Julio<br />
Moreno/Richard Oliveira) has been the high-marked bull in five of his last six outs. He tied Asteroid with 46.75<br />
points, out of a possible 50 points, in Round 1 at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals, and finished second<br />
in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round with 46.25 points. He scored 47 out of a possible 50 points in his<br />
last two regular season events at Springfield, Mo., on Sept. 16, and at Thackerville, Okla., on Sept. 1. He was<br />
marked 46.50 points at San Antonio on Aug. 18, and 46.25 points at Tulsa, Okla., on Aug. 11, and at Kansas<br />
<strong>City</strong> on April 1. Bushwacker had the highest bull score with 46.50 points in the PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle at<br />
Albuquerque, N.M., on March 24, and he tied for the second-highest bull score with 46 points at the Dickies®<br />
Iron Cowboy III presented by WinStar World Casino on March 3 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.<br />
Bushwacker missed the first eight events of 2012 after undergoing surgery in January. He has bucked off 35<br />
consecutive riders at Built Ford Tough Series events, and 48 consecutive riders overall. He’s been marked 47<br />
points or higher 11 times in his career, including a career-high 48.50 points in Round 3 at the 2011 Built Ford<br />
Tough World Finals. Bushwacker competed in 14 BFTS events in 2011, and was the high-marked bull 10 times.<br />
He had the three highest scores of 2011 with 48.50 points in Round 3 at the World Finals, and 47.75 points at<br />
Anaheim, Calif., and Arlington, Texas.<br />
ASTEROID VERSUS BUSHWACKER – Asteroid and Bushwacker have competed head-to-head 11 times in<br />
