The combination of MERINO natural wool fibres and
MOIRA fibres led to the creation of new fabrics in
the MOIRA WOOL collection. A reversible fabric was
developed for this collection of very warm garments
that, via MOIRA fibres on the inside, are able to
transport moisture to the outside, made of the finest
MERINO SUPER FINE fibre with a thickness of 16 microns.
Thanks to this construction, the fabric is able
to absorb a large amount of moisture without feeling
cold. The inside, in addition to having transport
and insulating functions, ensures maximum wearing
comfort even for people with very sensitive skin.
Pullovers are another style in the MOIRA WOOL line
that have specially knitted functional and ventilating
zones and sweaters with a higher grammage of
the fabric. Yarn made from a combination of MOIRA
TG900 and MERINO fibres is used. This combination
results in an excellent thermoregulatory effect, faster
drying as compared to 100% wool products, and
greater wear durability. The wool we use undergoes
SUPERWASH treatment to prevent mould. MOIRA
WOOL is ideal for expedition-type activities, trips of
several days, sports involving high temperature differences,
and daily wear.
Durch eine Kombination von Naturfasern- Merino/
MOIRA-Fasern entstand ein neues Strickgewebe
für unsere Kollektion MOIRA WOOL. Für die Serie
sehr warme Wäsche wurde ein Gewebe entwickelt,
das dank unserer Moira Faser die Feuchte in die
Außenschicht transportiert, die wiederum aus den
feinsten Fasern von MERINO SUPER FINE besteht.
Dank diesem Aufbau kann das Gewebe sehr viel
Feuchte aufnehmen, ohne daß es kühlen würde. Die
linke Seite bietet neben Transport- und Isolierungseigenschaften
auch einen hohen Grad an Tragekomfort.
Weitere Modelle in dieser Reihe sind Pullis mit
speziellen Funktions- und Ventilationszonen, aber
auch Pullis mit hoher Materialgrammatur. Hier wird
die Faser Mischung aus MOIRA TG 900 und MERINO
verwendet. Diese Kombination bewirkt eine bessere
Thermoregulierung, kürzere Trocknungszeiten
im Unterschied zu 100% Baumwolle und auch einen
höheren Antiabriebsgrad. Die von uns verwendete
Wolle ist mit dem Antipielingmittel SUPERWASH
behandelt. MOIRA WOOL eignet sich gut für die
aktive Freizeit, für Sprotarten mit unterschiedlichen
körperlichen Belastungen, aber auch für allgemeine
Benutzung.
