At first glance, PLUSH is a simple combination of cotton and
polypropylene. The outside of the fabric consists in thick cotton
thread with a high grammage that creates spaces between
the individual loops of the thread that do not change size even
when wet and slowly evaporate the moisture that is transferred
by the polypropylene fibres. The polypropylene fibre serves
as a transport route while maintaining a sufficient amount of
air warmed by the body. This plush construction, thanks to the
thick cotton thread, is very permeable even when the fabric is
wet. It is soft and pleasant to wear when relaxing. The fact that
PLUSH maintains a certain amount of moisture makes it an ideal
insulating layer under light, impermeable materials without the
condensation of vapour.
PLÜSCH ist auf den ersten Blick ein einfaches Gewebe in Kombination
von Wolle und Polypropylen. Bei der rechten Seite
handelt es sich um ein stärkeres Baumwollgewebe, bei dem
die einzelnen Maschen Räume bilden, die ohne Größenveränderung
für den Feuchteabtransport sorgen. Die beigemischte
Polyprophylenfaser dient als Transportmittel für die Feuchte.
Dieser Aufbau sorgt auch beim Feuchtwerden für die nötige
Durchlässigkeit, es ist weich und angenehm zu tragen. Durch
die Feuchteoptimierung bei Plüschgewebe wirkt das Gewebe
auch wärmend. Man kann es auch unter nichtdurchlässigen Materialien
tragen.
