| The unique MOIRA TG 900 ® fibre Modern synthetic fibres are very similar to traditional natural fibres and in many ways even surpass them. The inception of new materials suitable for daily use occurred in 1922 with the defining of the theory of polymers. By 1930 it was known how to manufacture all currently utilized artificial fibres, but the actual great era of synthetic fibres started with the manufacturing of nylon. The turn of the millennium saw the expansion and improvement of synthetic fibre production technology and its application in the textile industry. Polyolefines come closest to the concept of fibres that are suitable for the manufacture of clothing, which in addition to the regular attributes of traditional materials also have what is called “performance”; that means the ability to outstandingly draw moisture away while maintaining an optimum temperature. They have excellent attributes. They are the lightest and strongest, are non-absorbent, and also the warmest and most elastic of the synthetic fibres. MOIRA TG 900 ® is a fibre with a unique patented cross-section. The secret of the fibre lies in the shape of its cross-section, which resembles a five-pointed star. This doubles the circumference of the fibre while simultaneously creating troughs where capillary moisture is drawn. The five-pointed star cross-section of the MOIRA TG 900 ® fibre significantly affects the outstanding and fast drawing away of capillary moisture. Application of the MOIRA TG 900 ® fibre is further supported by its durability and strength. It is accepted by the human body without exception. | Einzigartige Faser Moira TG 900 ® Die modernen synthetischen Fasern sind traditionellen Naturfasern sehr ähnlich und in vielem übertreffen sie diese sogar. Die Entstehung neuer Materialien, die für den täglichen Gebrauch geeignet sind, begann im Jahre 1922 mit der Definition der Polymer-Theorie. Bis zum Jahr 1930 war das Herstellungsverfahren aller heute verwendeten Fasern schon bekannt, die große Zeit der synthetischen Fasern hielt aber erst mit der Nylonproduktion Einzug. Die Jahrtausendwende hat die Produktionstechnologien synthetischer Fasern und deren Verwendung in der Textilindustrie erweitert und verbessert. Den Vorstellungen von Fasern, die für die Kleiderproduktion geeignet sind, bei der man neben den gewöhnlichen Eigenschaften der klassischen Materialien auch die „Leistung“, also die Fähigkeit einer perfekten Nässeableitung bei Erhalt des Wärmeoptimums, wahrnimmt, entsprechen am meisten die Polyolefine. Diese haben hervorragende Eigenschaften – sind die leichtesten, festesten, nehmen keine Nässe auf, sind auch die wärmsten und am stärksten elastischen aus synthetischen Fasern. MOIRA TG 900 ® ist eine Faser mit einem einzigartigen, patentierten Profil. Das Geheimnis der Faser beruht in der Form des Querschnitts, welcher einem fünfzackigen Stern ähnlich ist. Damit vergrößert sich der Faserumfang fast um das Zweifache, gleichzeitig wird eine Rille erzeugt, durch die dann die Kapillarnässe abgeleitet werden kann. Der fünfzackige Querschnitt der Faser MOIRA TG 900 ® hat einen grundlegenden Einfluß auf die perfekte und schnelle Ableitung der Kapillarfeuchte. Die Verwendung der Faser MOI- RA TG 900 ® wird zusätzlich noch durch die ausgesprochen lange Lebensdauer bzw. Festigkeit unterstützt. Die Faser ist dermatologisch gut verträglich. 3
