are the days of waiting hours for Fritz to reach substantial enough depth in order to test an opening novelty.
“Let’s Check” keeps updating the evaluations with newer, deeper analysis as it becomes available. The entire
body of modern openings theory is built into the system, and “Let’s Check” provides you instantly with the latest
statistics of any position in the opening: how often it occurs, which moves were played
and with what success. The openings book (LiveBook) is updated on a weekly basis
and will show you which variations are currently topical and how good they are.

DEEP FRITZ 13 (RRP £89.95) £79.95! is the multi-processor version of Fritz13.
The program will run on a PC which has multiple processors/multiple cores,
harnessing the machine’s additional hardware to speed up the program’s chess
calculation. Running on an Intel Core 2 duo system, Deep Fritz will calculate at
roughly twice the rate of a single-processor system. This is particularly useful when
analysing large numbers of positions, researching new moves in an opening, or
analysing a single position in detail. Deep Fritz is at least 50 points stronger than
its single-processor counterpart running on the same hardware.
