they are able to handle a wider range of time controls such as time delay, increment and multi-session. Digital
clocks are perfect for matches at clubs and tournaments or for the casual game at home. However, they really
show their worth in blitz games and time-scrambles, where knowing exactly how much time you have remaining
can make all the difference! As they don’t function on a wind-up system like analogue clocks they need
batteries, although a set of batteries can last an incredible eight years (based on a usage of 4 hours per week).

The smallest and lightest clock around, slips easily into a coat or
trouser pocket. Features include countdown timer, count-up timer
and single-move timing functions. This clock does NOT offer
increment/Fischer or delay functions. The DGT 960 can also
randomly generate the 960 starting positions used in
Fischerandom chess. The display shows symbols indicating in
which position the pieces start on the board. Dimensions: 14 x

spectators and arbiters alike. To improve visibility for the
players the angle of the display is tilted back 10 degrees. It
