Dua’a Al-Mashlool
ُِيدَغٌا ِّٓدَغٌا ِٗلٌا ُِـِت
يٍٛشٌّا ءاػص
DUA'A AL-MASHLOOL (SUPPLICATION OF THE PARALYSED)
This du-a'a known as the "supplication of the youth stricken for his sin," is quoted from the
work of Kaf-'ami and from Muhaj al-Da-wat by Sayyid ibn Tawus. It is a supplication that
Imam Ali (as) taught a youth who was stricken by his sin and paralysed due to disobeying his
father and treating him with contempt. The youth recited the dua’a and went to sleep. He
saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his progeny) in the dream, and he
gently touched his body with his hand and asked him to remember this dua'a as it contains alismul
a’azam (the great name of Allah). Then he woke up completely healed. Imam Hussein
(as) mentions that reciting this dua’a brings countless blessings, and through it all legitimate
desires are fulfilled. He further directs that one should only recite this dua’a in a state of
purity (after performing ablution).

O Allah, I beseech You with
Your Name;
the Name of Allah, the Most
Merciful, the Benign
O Lord of Majesty and
Generosity;
alla-hoomma inni as'aloka,
be-lsmeka
bismilla hir rahma nir rahim.
ya zal jalale wal ikrame.
O Living; O Self-Subsisting, ya hayyo. ya qayyoomo
O Ever-living, there is no God
but You.
ya hayyo laa 1iiaha ilia anta
O You that are "He" ya howa.
of whom no one knows what
"He" is,
ya man la ya’a.lamo ma
howa.
nor how "He" is, wa la kaifa howa.
nor where "He" is, except "He." wa la aina howa wa la haitho
howa ilia howa.
O Lord of the Great Kingdom
and Supremacy.

O Lord of Honour and
Omnipotence:
ya zal izzate wal-jabaroote,
O Sovereign Lord, O Holy One! ya maleko. ya qooddooso
O Peace; O Keeper of Faith; ya salamo. ya mo'meno,
O Guardian O Revered One; ya mohaimeno, ya ' azizo,
O Compeller; O Superb. ya jabbaro ya motakabbero,
O Creator, O Maker of all things
from nothing;
ya khaliqo ya baari'o
O Artist; O Beneficent; ya mosowwero, ya mofeedo
O Administrator; O Severe (in
wrath);
ya modabbiro, ya shadeedo
O Inventor; O Restorer; ya mobdio ya mo'eedo
O Originator; O Most Loving: ya mobeedo ya wadoodo,

O You that are distant yet near; ya ba'eedo ya qaareebo

O Great; O Magnificent. ya kabeero, ya motakabbiro,
O One; O Matchless; O Eternal
and Absolute;
O You that begets not, nor is He
begotten;
ya wahido, ya ahado, ya
samado,
ya man lam walid wa lam
yoolad
nor is there equal to You anyone ya lam ya -kool -lahoo kofoan
ahad,
nor have You any spouse; ya lam yakool-lahoo
sahebaton
nor any bearer of Your burden; wa la kana ma'ahoo
waziroon,
nor any consultant to give You
advice;
wa lattakhaza ma'ahoo
mosheeran,
nor do You need any supporter; wa lah-taja ila zaheerin,
nor is there with You any other
deity;
wa la kana ma'ahoo min
illahin ghairohoo,
There is no God but You, la 1iiaha illa anta
and You are far exalted with
great excellence above all that
which the unjust folk do say
concerning You

O Seeker; O Conquerer; ya talibo, ya ghalibo,
O You from Whom no fugitive
can escape.
O Acceptor of repentance; O
Ever-forgiving;
O Great Bestower; O Causer of
all causes;
O Opener of doors (of relief and
salvation);
O You that answers howsoever
You are invoked.

O Changer of times; ya mobad-delaz-zamane,
O Acceptor of sacrifice; y'a qabelal qoorbane,
O You full of favours and
benefactions;
ya zal-manne, wal-ahsane,
O Lord of Honor and Supremacy; ya zal-izze was-sooltane,
O All Merciful; O most
Compassionate;
O You that has each day a
distinctive Glory
while no aspect of Your Glory is
erased by the prominence of
another aspect.
ya rahimo, ya rahmano,
ya man howa koolle yowmin
fee shanin,
ya man la wash-gholohoo
shanoon ' an shanin,
Oh Lord of great Glory ya ' azimash-shane,
O You that are present in every
place.
ya man howa be-koolle
makanin,
O Hearer of all voices; ya same'al-aswate,

O Giver of success in all

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
O You that are the Cherisher of
good deeds.
O You that raises men in rank
and degree;
ya-wali-yal hasanate,
ya rafe'ad-darajate,
O You that accedes to requests; ya mo'ti-yas-so'late,
O You that brings the dead to
life;
O You that gathers together that
which is scattered.
O You that are informed of all
intentions;
You that restores that which has
been lost;
O You that are not confused by a
multiplicity of voices;
O You that are not harassed by a
multitude of petitions;
and Whom no darkness can hide
or cover;
ya moh-ye-yal amwate,
ya jame'ash-shatate,
ya mottale'an ' alanni-yate,
ya radda ma qad fata,
ya man-la tash-tabeho '
alaihi-il aswato,
ya man la tozjero-hool
mas'alato
wa la tagh- shahoozzolomato,
O Light of heaven and earth. ya nooral-arze was-samawate
O Perfector of blessings; ya sabeghanne'ame,
O Averter of calamaties; ya dafe-an-neqame,
O Producer of zephyrs; ya bare'al-nesame,
O Gatherer of nations; ya jamea'l omame,
O Healer of disease; ya shafe-yas-saqame
O Creator of light and darkness; ya khaleqan-noore, wazzolame,

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
O Lord of generosity and
munificence;
O You (on) whose throne no one
can set foot!
O You more generous than the
most generous;
O You more munificent than the
most munificent;
O You most keen of hearing than
the most keen of hearing;
O You more keen of vision than
the most perceiving;
O Protecting neighbor of those
that seek Your neighborhood.
ya zal joode wal-karame,
ya man la yata' o arshahoo
qadamoon
ya ajwadal ajwadeena,
ya akramal-akrameena,
ya asma'as-same'eena,
ya absaran-nazereena,
ya jaral-moostajeereena,
O Refuge of the fearful; ya amanal-khaa'efeena,
O supporter of those who take
refuge (in You)
ya zahral-lajeena,
O Patron of the faithful; ya wali-yal mo'meneena,
O Helper of those that seek Your
help;
O ultimate Goal of those that
aspire.
ya gheyathal mostagheetheena,
ya ghayatat-talebeena,
O Companion of all strangers; ya saheba koolle gharibin,
O Friend of all the lonely ones; ya moonisa koollee waheedin,
O Refuge of all outcasts; ya malja-a koolle tariddin,
O Retreat of all persecuted ones; ya maawa koolee shareedin,
O Guardian of all those who
stray.
ya hafeza koolle zal-iatin,

O You that takes pity on the aged
and decrepit;
O You that nourishes the little
baby;
O You that joins together broken
ones;
ya rahemash-shaikhil-kabire,
ya razeqat- tiflis-saghire,
ya jaber-al'azmil kaseere,
O Liberator of all prisoners; ya fak-ka koolle aseerin,
O Enricher of the miserable poor; ya moghni-yal-baa'esilfaqeere,
O Protector of the frightened
refugees;
O You for Whom alone are both
destiny and disposal;
O You for Whom all difficult
things are simple and easy;
O You that does not need any
explanation.

moostajeere,
ya man lahoot-tadbeero
wattaqdeero,
ya manil'aseero, alaihe
sahloon yaseeroon,
ya man la yahtajo ila
tafseerin,
O You Mighty over all things; ya man howa ' ala koolle

O You that makes breezes blow; ya moorselar-reyahe,
O You that cleaves the day-break; ya faleqal asbahe,
O Reviver of the spirits; ya ba'esal arwahe,
O Lord of Generosity and
Clemency;

keys.

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
O Hearer of all voices; ya same'a koolle sowtin,
O You earlier in time than all that
have passed away;
O Giver of life to every soul after
death.
O my Means of defense in
confronting hardships;
ya sabeqa koolle fawtin,
ya moh-yeya koolle nafsin
ba'dal mowte,
ya 'oddati fee shiddati
O my Guardian in strange lands; ya hafezi fee ghoorbati,
O my Friend in my loneliness; ya moonesi fee wahdati,
O my Master in my bliss; ya wali-yee fee ne'mati,
O my Refuge at the time when
the journey does tire me out
and my kinsfolk hand me over to

O Supporter of those who have
no support;
O Guarantor of those who have
no guarantee;
O Wealth of those who have no
wealth;
O Means of those who have no
strength;
O Refuge of those who have no
refuge;
O Treasure of those who have no
treasure;
O He who relies on those who
have none to rely on,
ya ' imada man la 'imada
lahoo,
ya sanada man la sanada
lahoo,
ya zookhra man la zookra
lahoo,
ya hirza man la hirza lahoo,
ya kahfa man la kahfa lahoo,
ya kanza man la kanza lahoo,
ya rookna man la rookna
lahoo,
خَّٛص ِ ًُِو
خَّٛف ِ ًُِو
َغِِاؿ اي
َكِتاؿ اي
،ِخٌَّّٛا َضّؼَت ٍؾْفَٔ ِ ًُِو
َيِيّذُِ
اي
يذَضِش في يذَضُػ اي
يرَتّغُغ في ِيظِفاد اي
يذَضّدَٚ في يـِٔؤُِ اي
يرَّّؼِٔ في يِيٌَِٚ اي
ُةِ٘اظٌَّْا يِٕييّؼُذ َيند يفَّٙو اي
ُبِعالَلإا ِيُِّٕـٍَّـُذَٚ
ةِداص ًُُو يٌُُٕظّشَيَٚ
،ٌَُٗ َصاِّػ لإ َِّٓ َصاِّػ اي
،ٌَُٗ َضََٕؿ لإ َِّٓ َضََٕؿ اي
،ٌَُٗ َغّسُط لإ َِّٓ َغّسُط اي
،ٌَُٗ َػّغِد لإ َِّٓ َػّغِد اي
،ٌَُٗ َفَّٙو لإ َِّٓ َفَّٙو اي
،ٌَُٗ َؼَْٕو لإ َِّٓ َؼَْٕو اي
،ٌَُٗ
َْٓو ُع لإ َِّٓ َْٓو
ُع اي

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
O Helper of those who have no
helper;
O Neighbour of those who have
no neighbour.
O my Neighbour that are
adjacent;
ya gheyasa man la gheyasa
lahoo,
ya jara man la jara lahoo,
ya jare-yal-laseeqo,
O my Support that are firm; ya rokni-yal-watheeqo,
O my God that are worshipped by
virtue of positive knowledge;
O Lord of the Ancient House (the
Ka'ba);
O You full of loving and
kindness; O nearest Friend.
Liberate me from the choking
fetters,
Remove from me all sorrow,
suffering and grief,
Protect me from the evil that I am
unable to bear,
and help me in that which I can
bear,
O You that did restore Yusuf
unto Yaqub;
O You that did cure Ayyub of his
malady;
O You that did forgive the fault
of Dawood;
ya ilahi bit- tahqeeqi
ya rabbal-baitil-attiqi,
ya shafiqo, ya rafiqo,
fukkani min hel-aqil-mazeeqe
wasrif ' anni koolla hammin
wa ghammin wa zeeqin
wak-feni sharra ma la oteeqo
wa a'inni 'ala ma oteeqo,
ya radda yousofa ' ala ya'
qooba,
ya kashefa zorre ayy-ooba
ya ghafera zambe dawooda,
O You that did lift up Isa ya rafe'a 'isabne maryama
and saved him from the clutches
of the Jews;
wa moonje yaho min
aidil ya-hoode,
َُِغَٚ
،ٌَُٗ َزايِغ لإ َِّٓ َزايِغ اي
،ٌَُٗ َعاج لإ َِّٓ َعاج اي
،َكيصٌٍَا َيِعاج
اي
،َكيشَََّٚيا
َيِْٕو
ُع اي
،ِكيمّذَرٌاِت يِٰٙـٌِا
اي
،ِكيرَؼٌْا ِدّيَثٌْا َبَع اي
ُكيفَع اي ُكيفَش اي
،ِكيضٌَّْا
ِكٍََد ِِّٓ يَٕىُف
َُِ٘
ًَُو
يَّٕػ ّفِغّصاَٚ
،ٍكيضَٚ
،ُكيعُا لإ اِ
َغَش يِٕفْواَٚ
،ُكيعُا اِ ىٍَٰػ
يِّٕػَاَٚ
،َبُٛمّؼَي ىٍَٰػ
َفُؿُٛي َصاع
اي
،َبُٛيَا
ِ ِغُض
َفِشاو اي
،َصُٚاص ِةَْٔط َغِفاغ اي
ََُيّغَِ ِّٓت ىَٰـيػ
َغِفاع اي
،ِصَُٛٙيٌْا يِضّيَا ِِّٓ َُٗيِجُِْٕ
َٚ

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
O You that did answer the prayer
of Yunus from the darkness;
O You that did choose Musa by
means of Your inspired words;
O You that did forgive the
omission of Adam
and lifted up Idris to an exalted
station by Your mercy;
O You that did save Nooh from
drowning;
O You that did destroy the former
tribe of Ad
and then Thamud, so that no trade
of them remained,
and destroyed the people of Noah
before that,
for verily they were the most
unjust and most rebellious;
and overturned the ruined and
deserted towns;
O You that destroyed the people
of Lot;
and annihilated the people of
Sho'aib;
O You that chose Ibrahim as a
friend;
O You that chose Musa as one
spoken unto;
and chose Muhammed (Your
blessings be upon him and his
Progeny, all of them) as Your
Beloved;
O You that gave unto Luqman
wisdom;
ya mojeeba nidaa'e younosa
fiz-zoloma-te
ya mostafeya moosa bil-
kalemate,
ya man ghafara le-adama
khatee'ataho
wa rafa'a idreesa makanan '
ali-yan be-rahmatehi,
ya man najja noohan minal
gharqe,
ya man ahlaka 'aadan niloola
wa thamooda fama ab-qa
wa qowma noohin min qablo
innahoom kan-oo hoom
azlama wa atgha
walmo 'tafekata ahwa,
ya man dammara ' ala qowme
lootin
wa damdama, 'ala qowme
shoaibin,
ya manit- tak-haza ibrahima
khaleelan,
ya manit-takhaza moosa
kaleeman,
ya manit-takhaza
mohammadan sal-lal-aho '
alaihe wa alehi ajma' eena
habee-ban,
ya mo'teya loqmanal hikmata
يِف َؾُُٔٛي
ِءاضِٔ
َةيجُِ اي
،ِخاٍُُّظٌا
،ِخاٍَِّىٌْاِت ىٰؿُِٛ
َيِفَغّصُِ اي
َُٗرَئـيغَس َََصِلآ
َغَفَغ َِّٓ اي
،ِِٗرَّّدَغِت ًاِيٍَِػ ًأاىَِ َؾيعّصِا َغَفَعَٚ
،ِقَغَغٌْا َِِٓ ًادُٛٔ
ىِٰجَٔ
َِّٓ اي
ىٌُٰٚلإا
ًاصاػ َهٍََّ٘ا َِّٓ اي
ىٰمّتَا
اَّف َصَُّٛشَٚ
ًُّثَل ِِّٓ ٍحُٛٔ َََّٛلَٚ
،ىٰغْعَاَٚ
ٍََُْظَا ُُّ٘ اُٛٔاو َُُِّٙٔا
ِّٗيٍََػ ُٗلٌا
ىَّٰٛ٘ا
َحَىِفَذٌُِّْٛاَٚ
ٍطٌُٛ ََِّٛل ىٍَٰػ
َغََِص َِّٓ اي
،ةّيَؼُش
ََِّٛل ىٍَٰػ
َََضَِّصَٚ
،ًلايٍَس َُي٘اغّتِا َظَشَذا َِِٓ اي
ًاّيٍَو ىٰؿُِٛ
َظَشَذا َِِٓ اي
ىٍََٰص
ًاضََّذُِ َظَشَذاَٚ
،ًاثيثَد
َينؼَّّجَا ُِّّٙيٍََػَٚ ٌِِٗآَٚ
َحَّْىِذٌْا َْاّْمٌُ
َيِذُِِٛ
اي

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
and bestowed upon Sulaiman a
kingdom the like of which shall
not be merited by anyone after
him;
O You that did afford succour
unto the Zul Qarnayn against the
mighty tyrants;
O You that did grant unto Khizr
long life;
and brought back for Yusha, the
son of Nun, the sun after it had
set;
O You that gave solace unto the
heart of Musa's mother;
and protected the chastity of
Mariam, the daughter of Imran;
O You that did fortify Yahya, the
Son of Zakaria against sin;
wal-wahaba le-solaimana
moolkan, la yambaghi leahedim-mim-ba'dehi,
ya man nasara zal-qarnaine '
ai-al-malookil-jababerate
ya man a'tal-khizral-hayata,
wa radda le- yoosha 'abne
noon -ash-shamse ba'da
ghoroobiha
ya man rabata, ala qalbe
oome moosa
wa ahsana farja ma-ryamabnate
'imrana,
ya man hassana yahya-bna
zakariya minaz-zambe,
and abated the wrath for Musa; wa sakkana 'an moosalghazaba,
O You that gave glad tidings of
(the Birth of) Yahya unto
Zakaria;
O You that saved Ismaeel from
slaughter by substituting for him
the Great Sacrifice;
O You that did accept the
offering of Habeel
and placed the curse upon
Qabeel.
O Subduer of the alien hordes for
Muhammad - the blessings of
Allah be upon him and his
Progeny -
bestow Your blessings upon
Muhammad and the Progeny of
Muhammad
ya man bash-shera
zakariyyabe-yahya,
ya man fada isma'eela minazzabhe
be-zabhin ' azim,
ya man qabela qoorbana habeela
waj'alal-la'nata ' ala qabeela,
ya hazemal-ahzabe le
mohammadin sal-lal-aho '
alaihe wa alehi
salli ‘ala mohammadin wa '
aale mohammadin
يغَثَْٕي لإ ًاىٍُِْ َْاّّيٍَُـٌِ َةِ٘اٌْٛاَٚ
ىٍََٰػ
،ِِٖضّؼَت ِِّٓ ضَدَأِل
ِّٓئَّغَمٌْا اَط َغَصَٔ َِّٓ اي
،ِجَغِتاثَجٌْا ِنٌٍُُّْٛا
،َجايَذٌْا
َغّضِشٌْا ىَٰغّػَا
َِّٓ اي
َضّؼَت َؾَّّشٌا ُْٛٔ ِّٓت َغَشُٛيٌِ
َصَعَٚ
اِٙتُُٚغغ
ىٰؿُِٛ
ِ َُِا
ِةٍَْل ىٍَٰػ
َظَتَع َِّٓ اي
،َْاغِّّػ ِدَّٕتا ََُيّغَِ َضّغَف ََٓصّدَاَٚ
َِِٓ اِيِغَو
َػ َّٓت ىَٰيّذَي
ََٓصَد َِّٓ اي
ِةَْٔظٌا
،َةَضَغٌْا ىَٰؿُِٛ
َّٓػ ََٓىَؿَٚ
،ىٰيّذَيِت
اِيِغَو َػ َغَشَت َِّٓ اي
ِخّتَظٌا َِِٓ ًَيػاّّؿِا اضَف َِّٓ اي
ىٍََٰص
،ٍُيظَػ
ٍخّتِظِت
ًَيتا٘ َْاتّغُل ًَِثَل َِّٓ اي
،ًَيتال ىٍَٰػ
َحَّٕؼٌٍَا ًََؼَجَٚ
ضََّذٌُِّ
ِباؼّدَلإا
ََِػا٘ اي
،ٌِِٗآَٚ ِّٗيٍََػ ُٗلٌا
ضََّذُِ ِيآَٚ
ضََّذُِ ىٍَٰػ
ِ ًَِص

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
and upon all Your Messengers
and upon the Angels that are near
You
and upon all Your obedient
servants.
And I beg of You all the requests
which anyone has begged of You
with whom You has been pleased
and unto whom You has assured
the granting thereof,
wa ' ala jami'il ambiyya'e
wal-moorsaleena wa
malaa'ekatekalmoqarrabeena
wa ahle ta-'ateka ajmaeena
wa as-aloka be-koolle mas-
'alatin sa'alaka beha ahadoon
mimman razee-ta ' anho
fahatamta lahoo ' alal ijabate,
O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, ya allaho, ya allaho, ya
allaho,
O Most Merciful, O Most
Merciful, O Most Merciful,
O Most Beneficient, O Most
Beneficient, O Most Beneficient,
O Lord of Majesty and Grace, O
Lord of Majesty and Grace, O
Lord of Majesty and Grace.
Through You, Through You,
Through You, Through You,
Through You, Through You,
Through You
I beseech You with the help of all
the Names whereby You have
named Yourself,
or which You have revealed in
any of Your inspired Scriptures,
or Which You have inscribed in
Your knowledge of the unknown;
and (I beseech You) in the name
of the honored and exalted
positions of Your Throne,
and in the name of the utmost
extent of Your Mercy as
expressed in Your Book (the
Quran)

awis-taatharta behi fee '1imilghaibe

wa bema'aqedil-izze min
'arsheka
wa be-moontahar-rahmate
min kitabeka
َينٍَؿّغٌُّْا ِغيَّج
اِٙت َهٌََاَؿ
ىٍَٰػ
َٚ
َينتَغَمٌُّْا َهِرَىِئلاََِٚ
،َينؼَّّجَا َهِرَػاع ًَِّ٘اَٚ
ٍحٌََاّـَِ
ِ ًُِىِت
َهٌَُاّؿَاَٚ
،َُْٕٗػ َديضَع َِِّّٓ ضَدَا
ِحَتاجِلإا ىٍََٰػ
ٌَُٗ َدَّّرَذَف
،ُٗلٌَا اي ُٗلٌَا اي ُٗلٌَا اي
، ُّْٰٓـدَع
اي ُّٓدَع اي ُّْٰٓـدَع
اي
،ُُيدَع اي ُُيدَع اي ُُيدَع اي
اَط اي َِاغُوِلإاَٚ ِيلاَجٌْا اَط اي
ِيلاَجٌْا اَط اي َِاغْوِلإا َٚ
ِِٗت َدّيََّؿ
ِيلاَجٌْا
،َِاغْوِلإاَٚ
ِٗـِت
ِٗـِت
ِٗـِت

ِِٗـت
ٍُّؿِا
َهِثُرُو ِِّٓ ٍءّيَش
ِ ًُِىِت
َهٌَُاّؿَا
َهَـْفَٔ
في َُٗرٌَْؼَْٔا َّٚا
ِةّيَغٌْا ٍُِِْػ يِف ِِٗت َخّغَشأَرّؿا َِٚا
،َنَضِْٕػ
،َهِشّغَػ ِِّٓ ِ ِؼِؼٌْا
ِضِلاؼَِّتَٚ
،َهِتارِو ِِّٓ ِحَّّدَغٌا
ىََٰٙرُِّْٕتَٚ

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
and in the name of that which "If
all the trees on earth were to
become pens
and the sea, with seven more seas
to help it, (were ink)
the Words of Allah would not
come to an end.
Verily Allah is the Honoured, the
Wise" 31:27;
And I beseech You with the help
of Your Beautiful Names which
You have praised in Your Book,
saying “The most beautiful
names belong to Allah: so call on
him by them” 7:180
And You have said "Call unto Me
and I shall answer you” 40:60
and You has said, "And when My
servants ask something of Me, lo,
I am near, and I grant the prayer
of the supplicant when he asks
anything of Me” 2:186
And You has said, "O My
servants who have wronged
yourselves, despair not of the
Mercy of Allah;
wa bema low anna ma fil arze
min shajaratin aqlamoon
wal-bahro yamooddo-hoo
mim-ba'dehi sab'ato abhorin
ma nafedat ka-lematoollahe
innal-laha azeezon hakeem,
wa as'aloka be-asmaa'ekal
hoosnal-lati na'attaha fee
kitabeka
faqoolta wa lillahil
asmaa'ool-hoosna fad-ooho
beha
waqulta ‘ud’ooni astajib
lakom
wa qoolta wa iza sa'al-aka
'ibadi ' anni fa-inni
qareeboon ojeebo da'w-atadda'e
iza da'ane
wa qoolta ya 'lbadeyallazeena
asrafoo ' ala
anfosehim la ta-qnatoo min
rahmatil-iahe
verilly Allah forgives all the sins; innal-laha yaghferoozzonooba
jami-an
verily He is the Forgiving, the
Merciful." 39:53
Therefore I pray unto You, My
God, and I ask You, My
Cherisher and Sustainer,
innahoo howal ghafooror ra'him,
wa ana as'aloka ya ilahi wa
a'dooka ya rabbe,
and I hope from You, my Chief, wa arjooka ya sayyadi
and I crave Your acceptance of
my prayer, O my Protector, even
as You have promised me,
and I call upon You even as You
have commanded me
wa atma'o fee ijabati,
ya mowlaya kama wa' ad-tani
wa qad da'owtoka kama
amartani
ِِّٓ ِضّعَلإا يِف اِ ََْا ٌَّٛ اِّتَٚ
ٌَلاْلَا ٍجَغَجَش
غُذّتَا ُحَؼّثَؿ ِِٖضّؼَت ِِّٓ ُُٖضَُّي ُغّذَثٌْاَٚ
ِٗلٌا ُخاٍَِّو ّخَضِفَٔ اِ
ٌُيىَد ٌؼيؼَػ َٗلٌا َِْا
يرٌَا ىَّٰٕـُذٌْا
َهِئاّّؿَاِت
َهٌَُاّؿَا َٚ
َهِتارِو في اَٙرَؼَٔ
ىّٰٕـُذٌْا
ُءاّّؿَلإا
ِٗلٌَٚ َدٍُْمَف
،ُُّىٌَ ّةِجَرّؿَا ئُٛػّصُا
،اِٙت ُُٖٛػّصاَف
َدٍُْلَٚ
يَّٕػ يصاثِػ َهٌََاَؿ اطِاَٚ َدٍُْلَٚ
ِعاّضٌا َجَّٛػَص ُةيجُا ٌةيغَل يِـِّٔاَف
اُٛفَغّؿَا َٓيَظٌّا
،ِْاػَص اطِا
َيِصاثِػ
اي َدٍُْلَٚ
ِحَّّدَع ِِّٓ اُٛغَْٕمَذ
لإ ُِِّٙـُفَْٔا ىٍَٰػ
ِٗلٌا
ًاؼيَّج َبُُٛٔظٌا ُغِفْغَي َٗلٌا َِْا
اي َنُٛػّصَاَٚ يِٰٙـٌِا
،ُُيدَغٌا ُعُٛفَغٌْا َُٛ٘ َُِٗٔا
اي َهٌَُاّؿَا أََاَٚ
ِ ِبَع
يضِـِيَؿ
اي َنُٛجّعَاَٚ
اَّو َيلإَِّٛ اي يرَتاجِا في ُغَّْعَاَٚ
،يَٕذْضَػَٚ
يَٕذّغََِا اَّو َهُذَّٛػَص ْضَلَٚ

Dua’a Al-Mashlool
So, do unto me what pleases You
to do, O Generous One!
And all Praise be to Allah, the
Cherisher and Sustainer of the
worlds,
and the blessings of Allah be
upon Muhammad and all His
Descendants.

wa sal-lal-laho ' ala
