Correct estimation for materials consumption, since design stage<br />
of a product, is an important step, because materials costs<br />
constitute a significant partf of the selling price of a leather or<br />
synthetic products (footwear, handbags, upholstery,etc.. ..).<br />
Through time, theory specifies various methods for estimating<br />
consumption; compact parts drawing is one of them. This article<br />
presents the concepts of software testing, to optimize how the<br />
computer program operates, specific parameters of this<br />
estimation method, and a study of their influence on the final<br />
result, in order to establish the optimal variation of these<br />
Description parameters. Research orientation for this purpose is justified by<br />
the fact that the method of drawing compact parts is frequently<br />
used in industry, but often there are hard to tolerate deviations<br />
between theoretical estimation and real values.<br />
