Biotehnos research infrastructure was developed with financial<br />

help from POS CCE 74/04.09.2009 ID 275 SMIS-CSNR 2801<br />

which enhancing its dermatocosmetical and pharmaceutical<br />

research capacity through organization of three new research<br />

laboratories ( Biotechnological Research, Chromatography and<br />

Bioanalytical studies and Topic Conditioned Products) and<br />

upgrading Bioactive Extracts Sector with equipments of higher<br />

standards thus completing the own research system of<br />

interrelation concept → applications ↔ optimization →<br />

capitalization. This provides the functionality of an innovative<br />

research algorithm between rigorous quality control of<br />

biological materials, then obtaining technologies of superior<br />

physical-chemical characterizated actives principles and proving<br />

of specific biological actions by deeper researches at molecular<br />

and cellular level that supporting in vivo effects which are valued<br />

by an efficient product formulations.<br />

We implemented an efficient system of innovative processes and<br />

products development starting with quantification of toxic<br />

residues (pesticides and heavy metals) from biological materials<br />

by validated gas chromatography, AAS and LC-MS methods<br />

follow up by own in vitro analyses of toxicity and specific<br />

biological activity as well as in vivo extrapolation of significant<br />

target actions. First in our country, we perform state of the art<br />

researches of specific gene expression by qPCR for the genomic<br />

approach in early and deep assessing of efficacy and in vitro/ ex<br />

vivo studies of penetration and dermal absorption of actives<br />

topics by Franz diffusion for proving in vivo effects that<br />

represent the cutting edge of cosmetic and pharmaceutical<br />

science.<br />

We performed all stages of researches according of bioproduct<br />

quality and safety standards of UE legislations.<br />
