WEAR preventing shield, consisting of a support of sheet metal
made of thermo-resistant steel, low alloyed with Chromium
and/or Molybdenum wherein there are made channels forming a
rhombus-shaped grid with a depth of max. 1/2 of the support
thickness and a length equal with its depth, but not lower than 10
Description mm; inside the mentioned channels are deposited by welding
hard alloy layers with 71 % Fe – 25 % Cr – 2,5 % C – 1 % Mo –
0,5 % V, with a over raising of max. 10 mm and a crystalline
grain orientation along the mechanical stress of the shield.
APPLICABILITY DOMAIN: anti-wear protection of the active
surfaces of the power plants fan mills.
