The application aims to obtain a formal automation of the laser<br />

marking process, such that, based on existing process parameters<br />

(inputs) afferent to the marking equipment and to the material to<br />

be marked, a qualitative set of parameters can be generated<br />

(outputs) which correspond to the obtained mark, based on the<br />

aforementioned process characteristics.<br />

The scope is to predict the marking results for any type of<br />

material and for any available type of laser beam.<br />
