T-56 6-Speed Transmissions<br />
This 6-speed transmission was original equipment in<br />
the ‘07-10 GT500, but can be used with any ‘05-10<br />
3V engine & uses the factory hydraulic release<br />
bearing. A special transmission crossmember,<br />
mount, driveshaft & shifter must be used for<br />
installation in a ‘05-10 Ford <strong>Mustang</strong> 4.6L. (These<br />
parts are included in our transmission upgrade kit,<br />
part #TTUK1.) The TR6060 uses a 26 spline clutch,<br />
so 4.6L upgrades need a 26 spline clutch. Gear<br />
ratios are 1st-2.97, 2nd-1.78, 3rd-1.30, 4th-1.00,<br />
5th-0.80, & 6th-0.63.<br />

The 500 series is rated to 500 ft/lbs of torque and the<br />
600 to 600 ft/lbs. Has provisions for both mechanical<br />
and electronic speedometers and includes both the<br />
neutral safety and back-up light switches. Requires<br />
use of Lakewood bell housing, #LI5255, 3 quarts of<br />
GM Syncromesh transmission fluid, #GM1234 and a<br />
31-spline driveshaft yoke, #TR236041X.<br />
