T-56 6-Speed Transmissions
This 6-speed transmission was original equipment in
the ‘07-10 GT500, but can be used with any ‘05-10
3V engine & uses the factory hydraulic release
bearing. A special transmission crossmember,
mount, driveshaft & shifter must be used for
installation in a ‘05-10 Ford Mustang 4.6L. (These
parts are included in our transmission upgrade kit,
part #TTUK1.) The TR6060 uses a 26 spline clutch,
so 4.6L upgrades need a 26 spline clutch. Gear
ratios are 1st-2.97, 2nd-1.78, 3rd-1.30, 4th-1.00,
5th-0.80, & 6th-0.63.

TKO 500/600 Transmissions
The 500 series is rated to 500 ft/lbs of torque and the
600 to 600 ft/lbs. Has provisions for both mechanical
and electronic speedometers and includes both the
neutral safety and back-up light switches. Requires
use of Lakewood bell housing, #LI5255, 3 quarts of
GM Syncromesh transmission fluid, #GM1234 and a
31-spline driveshaft yoke, #TR236041X.
