Object Description Conventions<br />

Object <strong>de</strong>scriptions in this manual look like the samples shown below. Each <strong>de</strong>scription inclu<strong>de</strong>s a<br />

table of summary information.<br />

Sub-In<strong>de</strong>x Object Relationships<br />

This manual <strong>de</strong>scribes objects and sub-in<strong>de</strong>x objects. Object <strong>de</strong>scriptions are set off by bold type<br />

and a heavy separator line. Sub-in<strong>de</strong>x object <strong>de</strong>scriptions have regular typeface and a thinner line.<br />

Sub-in<strong>de</strong>x object 0 always contains the number of elements contained by the record.<br />

Object Summary Description Fields<br />

Field Name Description<br />

Type The object type (i.e., Unsigned 32, Integer, String).<br />

Access The object’s access type:<br />

RO for read only<br />

WO for write only<br />

RW for read and write<br />

RC for read and clear<br />

Units The units used to express the object’s value.<br />

Range The acceptable range of values if less then that specified by Type.<br />

Map PDO YES if the object can be mapped to a PDO. NO if it cannot. EVENT if the object can be mapped and<br />

set to event triggering.<br />

Memory Some objects can be held in the amplifier’s flash memory (F), some in RAM (R), and some in RAM<br />

and flash (RF). If an object cannot be stored, or if the object contains sub-in<strong>de</strong>x objects, the Memory<br />

field contains a dash (-).<br />
