Remove the circuit board Loosen and remove the 3 screws shown and pull the circuit board off the plug in an upwards direction. Please place the circuit board next to the ECV. 3. Adapting the components Cut the connecting wires of the capacitor and the resistor off above the cardboard strip and bend the pins to fit the soldering position shown here. 4. Performing the changes Solder the pins of the components into position using additional solder. This area is covered with sealing varnish and there are very fine wires already in position at the points where the capacitor is to be soldered on! Now you remove the SMD resistor shown, by desoldering or nipping it. 1. Remove the cover over the electronic components After opening the cover shown on the left hand side, you will recognize G-18.2800 by the programming plug positioned in the right top hand corner of the circuit board.
