Coin type All those coins are summarized under one coin<br />

type which have the same → coin properties.<br />

Critical coin Type of coin the recognition of which could be<br />

difficult due to immense amounts of false coins.<br />

Inhibit line Signal line from vending machine control to coin<br />

validator which can block coin acceptance<br />

completely.<br />

Line → Coin signal line<br />

Reference data Data required to generate acceptance bands for<br />

Euro coins.<br />

To convert the coin validators (not G-18.mft) to<br />

Euro, the reference data must be generated by<br />

inserting calibration discs.<br />

Reference device A device of a series which is exclusively used to<br />

measure calibration sets and is programmed for<br />

Euro. Reference data used to measure the<br />

calibration sets is stored here.<br />

Return line When operating the return lever of the coin<br />

validator, a return signal is transmitted along the<br />

return signal line.<br />

String sensor The coin validator’s sensor recognizes a coin<br />

inserted with a piece of string attached to it.<br />

String signal The → string sensor recognizes a piece of string<br />

and transmits the string signal to the control unit.<br />

Switch block The switch block is located on the rear of the coin<br />

validator and incorporates a number of DIL<br />

switches. Every switch is allocated to a → coin<br />

channel, via which the individual → coin types can<br />

be blocked or a function allocated.<br />

Table Programming table to save information in the coin<br />

validator e.g. about which coin channels are<br />

allocated to the sorting chutes of the coin validator.<br />
