Adjust coin acceptance band<br />
<strong>WinEMP</strong> enables you to adjust the acceptance band of the individual<br />
channels after real and corresponding false coins have been inserted in<br />
order to optimize the relationship between relatively high acceptance of<br />
real coins and rejection of false coins. These settings are made in the real<br />
coin and false coin adjustment screen (for the meaning and function of the<br />
acceptance band see section ”Compare coin values with stored channel<br />
values” in this chapter):<br />
• On the diagnostics screen in the sub-menu<br />
SETTINGS select the menu item ADJUSTMENT.<br />
The screen message Please insert 20<br />
genuine coins (1 denomination) is<br />
displayed.<br />
Return to the diagnostics screen via ABORT, if you do not wish to make<br />
any adjustments or check any values.<br />
• Insert 20 real coins of one coin denomination into the coin validator<br />
(representative selection, not only old or only new coins). For validation<br />
purposes, the screen display indicates the coins inserted and counts<br />
down from 20 to 0. After the 20 th coin has been inserted the real coin<br />
adjustment screen is displayed.<br />
