Program channel specific data
(Table screen)
Using the table screen (see page 13) and the instructions in the following
sections below, you can program channel superordinate data (left hand
side of the screen) such as e.g. the smallest coin value or the acceptance
limit and also allocate specific functions to individual channels (right hand
side of the screen).
Determine smallest coin value and decimal point position
(only G-18 battery)
All coins accepted by the coin validator with their coin value must be divisible
by the smallest coin value. The left column of the table screen (see
page 13) shows the smallest coin value coin offset.
If you wish to change this value, call up a pull down menu using the
arrow interface of the mouse or the white input field. The pull down
menu shows the possible coin values and you can select the value
required.
When leaving this screen, you will be asked whether the data entered
is to be saved in the device. By clicking on the button YES the new
values would be saved in the coin validator.
Your selection also determines the position of the decimal point on the
vending machine display.
Determine critical coin (only G-18 battery)
The critical coin is that coin type for which false coins are most frequently
used during the sales process. To exclude the use of false coins as much
as possible, WinEMP can be used to specify the maximum number of
critical coins which are to be accepted during one sales process. To do
this specify the coin type which is to be regarded as the critical coin type
and also specify the difference in the product price set in the coin validator
minus the maximum number of critical coins inserted (see following
section).
