WinEMP – G-13.mft CONFIGURATION – FOR PARALLEL INTERFACE (VALIDATOR)
Define output signals for coin rejection
If the coin validator is to use the six signal lines to tell the vending machine
whether it has rejected an inserted coin, you can define which of the lines is
to send one signal or several signals in WinEMP.
The coin validator distinguishes between two types:
• programmed, i.e. known coin rejected
• not programmed, i.e. unknown coin rejected
If you want to define one combination of signal lines and one impulse number
in order to distinguish each of these two cases:
1 Select menu item EXTRA and then OPTIONS.
The dialog box BASIC SETTINGS AND OPTIONS opens.
2 In the "table of
contents" on
the left-hand
side, select
the index word
COIN
REJECTION.
3 On the righthand
side
under
REJECTED COIN
IS PROGRAMMED
and under
REJECTED COIN
IS NOT PROGRAMMED click on (tick) the box(es) of the desired output
line(s) 6-1.
Clicking again would delete the tick and a coin rejection would not be
signalled via this line.
4 Under PULSE NUMBER, use the keyboard to enter the desired impulse
number for both cases.
National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH, Buxtehude
If you only want the coin validator to transmit the information that a
coin was rejected – regardless whether known or unknown – the
same data can be entered for both cases.
5 Confirm your entry with OK and close the window again or proceed
to the next setting in this dialog box first and confirm all your settings
later.
6 Click BACK to store the setting in the G-13.mft or proceed to the next
setting on this screen and store all your settings later.
