WinEMP – G-13.mft CONFIGURATION – FOR PARALLEL INTERFACE (VALIDATOR)
Assign coin impulse number to a coin type
Every coin accepted by the coin validator passes on at least one impulse to
the vending machine control system via the appropriate coin signal line. An
impulse tells the vending machine control system that a coin has been
accepted. For the vending machine control system to be able to distinguish
between the individual coin values when there are not enough signal lines,
a different number of coin impulses can be assigned to the coin types.
Theoretically, you can assign 1–255 impulses per coin to the coin channel
assigned to one coin.
National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH, Buxtehude
But: Configure the impulse number as low as possible so that coins
can be accepted more quickly.
If there are sufficient coin signal lines, assign an impulse and a
different coin signal line or combination of signal lines to each coin
type (see next section).
If too many coin types have been programmed for the existing coin
signal lines, assign, for example, two impulses and the same coin
signal line to a 1-euro coin as for the 50-cent coin, which is
transmitted with one impulse.
If you want to assign a different impulse number to a coin type:
1 Use the mouse to mark the number currently displayed in the input
field of the respective coin channel under the heading IMP. and
2 enter the desired number using the keyboard.
3 Click BACK to store the setting in the G-13.mft or proceed to the next
setting on this screen and store all your settings later.
