CONFIGURATION 44 WinEMP – G-13.mft The dialog box which opens shows the international currency acronyms on the left-hand side (under NAME), on the top right-hand side possible hardware VARIANTS of the G-13.mft for the currency selected, and on the bottom right-hand side (under VALUE) all coin types for the currency and hardware variant selected. 4 Select currency of the new coin to be configured on the left-hand side. If the required currency is not listed in the data base, the acceptance bands of these coins are not available for configuration yet. In this case, first of alle click ALL and then select the currency. The acceptance bands of these additionally listed currencies must be taught by coin insertion later on. 5 If necessary, select hardware VARIANT of the coin validator connected on the top right-hand side (with or without runway limitation (spacer inside the flight deck, see also spare parts catalogue), large or very large coins with a diameter up to 32.5 mm or 33.5 mm). These variants have an effect on the coin acceptance bands and must always be selected correctly. 6 On the bottom right-hand side, select the required coin type (E = narrow acceptance band, S = very narrow acceptance band, N/NN/ N1 = new/newer/newest coin of one type, A or no comment = old coin of one type). If the required currency or coin type is not listed in the data base – after clicking ALL neither, an individual coin name must be entered by clicking OTHER. Entering an individual coin name saves no coin ID, i.e. these coins cannot be updated by means of a data block download or duplication. Therefore, please always select a coin from the list, if possible. After confirming with OK the acceptance band must be taught by inserting the corresponding coin. National Rejectors, Inc. The box closes and the new acceptance band as well as the coin name is saved in the PC for the channel selected. Those coins which could not be configured using the data base must now be taught by inserting the coins. (8) Insert 30 genuine coins of the new coin type into the G-13.mft (representative selection). For the purpose of verification, the screen display indicates the insertion of a coin and starts counting from 0 to 30. After the 30 th coin has been inserted, the pop-up window closes. Please do not change the width of the acceptance band and leave the sliding bar on 100%. WinEMP has stored the measured values of the inserted coins and assigned the new acceptance band with 100% to the coin channel. The percentage value is displayed on the ACCEPTED button. 9 Adapt other settings to suit the new coin type (see section "Configure G-13.mft for parallel standard/Casino/totalizer, MDB/S1 or cctalk operation" in this chapter). 10 Save acceptance band and all other settings in the G-13.mft by clicking BACK. 11 Check acceptance of the newly configured coin (see section "Which coin type is accepted in which coin channel?" in Chap. 7 "Measured coin values and channel values"). 45
