If a channel has accepted not enough coins, its acceptance band can be
expanded as follows:
At this point, the coin acceptance for improving the rejection of false
coins cannot be reduced since no false coins have been inserted
yet and therefore WinEMP has also not been able to take into
consideration any false coin values (see below).
3 Click on the ACCEPTED button of the coin channel whose acceptance
band is to be widened.
A pop-up window with a sliding
bar opens.
4 Move the sliding bar to the right
onto WIDE using the mouse
(greater acceptance of genuine
coins). The respective
percentage value of the accepted
genuine coins is shown
underneath the sliding bar to the
left of the slash. Proceeding on
the basis of the previously stored
100%, the acceptance band is
then extended accordingly.
Percentage values recommended by NRI for the acceptance of
genuine coins:
normal coin channel 100%
narrow coin channel 95%
very narrow coin channel 90%
5 Accept changes with OK.
The window closes. The changed value is displayed on the ACCEPTED
button.
If you want to reset the value you have just changed to the initial
value use the ACCEPTED button to click RESET and then OK in
the sliding bar window.
6 Check the new limits of the acceptance band by re-inserting the
genuine coins.
If necessary, repeat steps 3 to 6 for all coin channels assigned to a coin type.
You can save the new acceptance limits with BACK in the G-13.mft
or insert any existing false coins for that coin type first and take
them into account when adjusting the acceptance band (see below).
