Optimize acceptance of genuine coins and rejection of false coins
WinEMP enables you to adjust the acceptance band of the individual coin
channels following the insertion of genuine and corresponding false coins in
order to optimize the relationship between highest possible acceptance of
genuine coins and rejection of false coins:
1 Select menu item INSERT COINS and then GENUINE COINS.
The screen message PLEASE INSERT
AT LEAST 30 GENUINE COINS is then
displayed.
2 Insert 30 genuine coins of the same
coin type into the G-13.mft
(representative selection).
For the purpose of verification, the screen display indicates the insertion
of a coin and starts counting from 0 to 30. The coloured acceptance
class shows which coin is accepted by which coin channel. After the
30 th coin has been inserted, the pop-up window closes.
On the "Settings" screen the G-13.mft is in the setting mode and no
longer in the normal operating mode, i.e. acceptance of the coin is
merely simulated here and the coin inserted is sent to the return
area for that reason.
WinEMP has compared the measured values for the inserted
coins with the saved limit values of the acceptance bands and
determined what percentage of the inserted coins have been
accepted in the respective coin channels. The coin channels
involved are provided with their respective percentage value
(0–100%) under the heading ACCEPTED.
Due to the fact that, in terms of
technical requirements, it only
makes sense to adjust coin
channels with an acceptance of
at least 80%, lower acceptance
values are automatically increased to 100% by clicking on the
ACCEPTED button following confirmation of a security query. These
acceptance bands can then only be re-adjusted narrower following the
insertion of false coins.
