PREPARATION Display authorization licences of the chip card 30 WinEMP – G-13.mft If you wish to know which WinEMP licences are programmed on the chip card inserted in addition to the basic licence, simply open the info box: 1 In the main menu, select menu item INFO. Apart from the software version in the top field the two bottom fields list the additional licences of the chip card: • DOWNLOAD LICENCE for data block download using WinEMP, for a certain device series • PALMEMP LICENCE for data block download using NRI Palm OS ® application PalmEMP, for all NRI coin validators (no longer available) • DDL LICENCE (DUPLICATE) for series configuration of NRI G-13.mft coin validators (from device version /4 on) according to customer's requirement The ACCESS LEVEL in the second field specifies the different authorization levels for customers and service technicians. 2 Close the info box with OK. WinEMP – G-13.mft Select memory block for configuration (only with double block data-management) National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH, Buxtehude PREPARATION The memory block 0 or 1 to be configured does not have to be activated using the DIL switch on the rear side of the coin validator but can also be selected with the aid of WinEMP instead. The currently active memory block is displayed in the program line at the top of the screen. If you want to configure or check the data of the other memory block: Select menu item TESTS in the main menu and then SELECT BLOCK. After the status-bar indicator has been completed, the activated memory block is displayed at the top in the program bar and its data is displayed on the screen. Before configuring the coin channels, always make sure that the correct memory block is activated, otherwise the settings will be incorrect. When the coin validator is connected to the PC, the data of the memory block set at the DIL switch is always downloaded. 31
