WinEMP – G-13.mft Perform tests National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH, Buxtehude PREPARATION Two basic requirements for the functionality of the G-13.mft are reliable signal lines between the machine (tester) and the G-13.mft as well as a perfectly functioning acceptance gate. WinEMP enables you to test these equipment parts. Test signal lines (only for parallel interface) Signal lines can only be checked, if the coin validator is supplied with power by the NRI testers G-19.0594/G-19.0651 or G-19.0645/ G-19.0650. To test the external inhibit signal lines between the vending machine (tester) and the G-13.mft in validator operation or the reset and common inhibit signal line between the vending machine (tester) and the G-13.mft in totalizer operation, select menu item TESTS in the main menu and then LINE TEST. While the status display is displaying the message LINES ARE BEING CHECKED – PLEASE WAIT, the function of the external signal lines is checked automatically. On the tester, the LEDs assigned to the signal lines light up briefly. If an LED does not light up, either the connection between the G-13.mft and the vending machine (tester) is defective (cable, plug-in connections) or a coin validator component is defective. In this case, please contact the service technician. Test acceptance gate To test the acceptance gate of the G-13.mft, please select menu item TESTS in the main menu and then GATE TEST. While the status display is displaying the message GATES ARE BEING CHECKED – PLEASE WAIT, the function of the acceptance gate is checked automatically. You can hear the solenoid being activated and released again. If you can’t hear a noise, the module must be checked. 29
