General operating functions
National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH, Buxtehude
MENU STRUCTURE AND GENERAL FUNCTIONS
In this section simple functions are to be explained once. These functions
will not be mentioned again for the adjustment steps included in the following
chapters.
• The top program line shows the WinEMP version, the connected
device and the activated memory block 0 or 1 (if available).
• By clicking the menu item BACK you will always go – possibly after
confirming/rejecting the query WRITE DATA INTO VALIDATOR? – back to the
main menu.
• The program can only be exited from the main menu.
• Coin validator data that has been
changed is written into the connected
device before the user leaves the
screen "Settings" via the menu item
BACK and after the query WRITE DATA INTO VALIDATOR?
• Each configuration stored in the device can be restored using an archive.
The basic requirement for this option is that the device must always be
configured on the same PC, since the archive files are stored on the hard
disk of the PC.
• Faulty input is displayed in red
or an acoustic signal is sounded. Before
the screen "Settings" is exited, the
warning ENTRIES NOT CORRECT. IGNORE
CHANGES? IS DISPLAYED.
• Any settings WinEMP cannot read or which are faulty are identified by
a question mark in the appropriate input field.
• Using the menu item INFO, in the top right-hand side of the main
menu, an info box with the WinEMP software version and access
rights will always be displayed. You can close the window by clicking
OK.
• Using the button ABORT the user aborts a process and
leaves the respective pop-up window.
• Underlined letters in the menu bar and in the pull-down menus
must be treated the same way as in Windows and stand for the key
that executes specific functions when pressed before or together with
the "Alt" key.
• When selecting the functions
using the main menu bar, the
access rights of the user are
checked. An info box is displayed.
• Loading and testing operations are
always documented in an info box by
means of a status-bar indicator.
