Start WinEMP

INSTALLATION
The easiest way to open the program is by
• double-clicking on the WinEMP icon on the desktop of your PC or
• accessing the Windows START menu, PROGRAMS and
WINEMP.
You are informed of the loading progress
of the connected G-13.mft’s device data
by the loading window’s status-bar indicator
(LOOKING FOR VALIDATOR, VALIDATOR FOUND –
READING DEVICE DATA).
Once the loading process has been
completed, you are automatically taken to
the main menu of the software.
The WinEMP version, the device type of
the connected G-13.mft and the activated
memory block 0 or 1 (if available) are
displayed in the upper program line.
The card LED on the card reader G-19.0647 is red as long as the software
is accessing the inserted chip card.
As long as the card LED is illuminated in red, the chip card
must not be pulled out or inserted. This can destroy the card!
If the software is unable to make a connection with the G-13.mft, it
probably has one of the following causes:
• The device environment has not been connected
1 Abort loading operation via EXIT.
2 Follow the instructions included in the section "Install device
environment for workshop (card reader G-19.0647)" or
"Connect laptop and card reader G-19.0656 on site" in this
chapter.
3 Start WinEMP again.
• Connections or cables are defective
1 Abort loading operation via EXIT.
2 Follow the instructions included in the section "Install device
environment for workshop (card reader G-19.0647)" or
"Connect laptop and card reader G-19.0656 on site" in this
chapter or replace accessories.
3 Start WinEMP again.
