INSTALLATION<br />
Install device environment for workshop<br />
(card reader G-19.0647)<br />

Installation differs depending on the device environment:<br />
<strong>WinEMP</strong> – G-13.mft<br />
Connect device environment with <strong>WinEMP</strong> PC interface G-55.0359<br />
Connect the G-13.mft to the PC according to the following connection plan:<br />

1 Use the 10-pole connecting cable of the PC interface G-55.0359 to<br />
connect the PC interface to the PCB direct plug on the right-hand<br />
side of the coin validator first.<br />
2 Then connect the PC interface using its serial interface to the interface<br />
of the card reader G-19.0647 labelled with "ECV connector".<br />
3 Use the interface labelled "(USB) PC connector" and the enclosed<br />
connecting cable to connect the card reader to a USB or COM<br />
interface on the PC.<br />
4 If necessary, plug the connecting plug of the <strong>WinEMP</strong> 9V-power pack<br />
into the socket labelled "9 V DC" on the card reader (not for USB<br />
connection).<br />
Replace the power pack enclosed in the scope of delivery<br />
only with equivalent 9V-power packs!<br />
5 Connect PC interface to its 12V-power pack.<br />
6 Connect the 12V-power pack as well as the 9V-power pack (not for<br />
USB connection) to the mains.<br />
The Power LED on the card reader is illuminated in green.<br />
