CONFIGURATION – FOR CCTALK INTERFACE 106 <strong>WinEMP</strong> – G-13.mft Define attraction time of the acceptance gate and display pre-magnetization/coin acceptance time and time periods of the accepted coin sensor The attraction time determines how long the solenoid of the acceptance gate is supposed to attract so that the gate will open and the inserted coins can be directed into the cash-box. Usually, the solenoid is attracting only as long as the coin has been accepted, i.e. the coin has passed the CP3 sensor. There are three different phases: • pre-magnetization time The solenoid is fully controlled in order to open the gate. • actual attraction time Solenoid control is timed (to conserve energy) in order to keep the gate open. • coin acceptance time Time after closing the acceptance gate which is available for the accepted coin sensors. This section merely describes how to set the actual attraction time. Pre-magnetization time, coin acceptance time as well as the CP3/ CP4 time periods of the accepted coin sensor are only displayed for diagnostic purposes. If you want to change the attraction time of the solenoid of the acceptance gate: 1 Select menu item EXTRA and then BASIC SETTINGS. The dialog box BASIC SETTINGS AND OPTIONS opens. In the "table of contents" on the left-hand side, the index word ACCEPTANCE GATE has already been selected. 2 On the righthand side enter the desired ATTRACTION TIME using the keyboard. The attraction time can be 150 to 1000 ms (typical setting: 500 ms) and is converted into 4-ms increments. National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH, Buxtehude
