UNIT 4: T-<strong>39</strong> EXAMINATION AND REVIEW<br />

1. DESCRIPTION OF EXAMINATION<br />

The Flight Preparation end-<strong>of</strong>-course examination contains fifty multiple-choice, True/False,<br />

and fill-in-the-blank questions. Expect twenty-five general knowledge questions concerning<br />

flight preparation concepts. The other twenty-five questions are reserved for the T-<strong>39</strong> NATOPS<br />

portion <strong>of</strong> the examination.<br />

One and a half hours (1+30) are allotted for the end-<strong>of</strong>-course examination.<br />

2. STANDARDS AND GRADING CRITERIA<br />

To successfully complete the examination, you are required to correctly answer a minimum<br />

<strong>of</strong> 80% <strong>of</strong> the questions.<br />

3. MATERIALS REQUIRED<br />

The instructor will provide all materials required for the examination. Textbooks, CR-2s,<br />

class notes, or other study aids are prohibited.<br />

4. TESTING PROCEDURES<br />

The examination will begin on time. Students late by less than ten minutes will be permitted<br />

to take the examinations with their class; however, the scheduled completion time remains in<br />

effect. Time extensions for late arrivals are prohibited.<br />

The instructor will provide an examination, answer sheet, and pencil to each student.<br />

Should questions arise during the examination period, students should raise their hand for<br />

instructor assistance.<br />

Writing in examination booklets is prohibited.<br />

Upon completion <strong>of</strong> the examination, you will be provided with a critique sheet. Remember<br />

that while constructive comments are encouraged, a pr<strong>of</strong>essional response is expected.<br />

5. PROCEDURES<br />

During the examination review, your instructor will read and provide the correct answer for<br />

each question. Upon your request, he will discuss any question or answer.<br />

Note taking <strong>of</strong> any type during the review is prohibited.<br />

6. GRADING QUERIES<br />

If in the opinion <strong>of</strong> the instructor a controversy exists over a test item, he will request grading<br />

be suspended and a review initiated.<br />
