22. Maneuver Item File. A listing of required maneuvers and<br />
associated proficiency levels for each block of training.<br />
23. Master Syllabus. Chapters I-VIII list all training<br />
syllabus activities, prerequisites, and training flow for MNTS.<br />
24. Outcomes. Potential courses of action following a progress<br />
check (SXX88/89). There are only two basic outcomes:<br />
a. Pass – Return to training.<br />
b. Fail – Proceed with the elimination process/eliminate.<br />
25. Phase of Training. A major division in the course of<br />
training. Advanced MNTS is one phase of training divided into<br />
three segments: Strike/Fighter/ATM.<br />
26. Pink ATF. An ATF that is pink in color, but otherwise<br />
identical to the standard ATF. The pink ATF is used to denote<br />
an unsatisfactory event generating a progress check.<br />
27. Progress Check Instructor. An instructor authorized to<br />
administer initial or final progress checks.
