12. Fighter Advanced 1 V 1 Intercepts Training (2B49) Overview.<br />
Students become proficient at recognizing and countering bogey<br />
jinks in heading, airspeed, and altitude in the 2B49 trainer.<br />
Students will counter jinking bogeys in order to take forward-<br />
and rear-quarter missile shots.<br />
13. Fighter Advanced 1 V 1 Intercepts Training (T-39N)<br />
Overview. Students become proficient at airspeed and altitude.<br />
Students will counter jinking bogeys in order to take forward-<br />
and rear-quarter missile shots.<br />
14. Fighter Advanced Multibogey Intercepts Training (2B49)<br />
Overview. Students are introduced to section/2-ship radar<br />
employment and communications in a multibogey environment.<br />
Additionally, students combine advanced intercept skills with<br />
tactical navigation routes to complete simplified self-escort<br />
strikes.<br />
15. Fighter Advanced Strike Route Intercepts Training (T-39N)<br />
Overview. Students become proficient at tactical decisionmaking<br />
and multitasking by completing simplified self-escort<br />
strike routes with an ingress and egress presentation.<br />
16. Multiple Approach Flight Training (T-39N) Overview.<br />
Students practice approaches at different airfields in order to<br />
gain experience operating out of the local area. R4301 and<br />
R4302 are generally administered any time after completion of<br />
Fighter Conversions Simulator Training (R2201). Stage Manager<br />
may approve deviations.<br />
17. Air Tactical Maneuvering (T-45C) Overview. These final<br />
blocks of training serve to indoctrinate student aviators into<br />
the dynamic and challenging world of high performance tactical<br />
aviation. Students learn section flight procedures and<br />
coordination, section low-level procedures, division flight<br />
procedures, basic section and division air-to-ground attack<br />
profiles, and basic fighter maneuvering (1 V 1). Most<br />
importantly, students learn how to operate effectively as a<br />
crewmember in high stress situations during physically and<br />
mentally demanding flight.
