5.11 Generator AC System Installation<br />
Before the electrical system is installed, READ the SAFETY<br />
INSTRUCTIONS of this manual FIRST!<br />
Be sure that all electrical installations (including all safety systems)<br />
comply with all required regulations of the regional authorities. This<br />
includes lightening conductor, personal protection switch etc.<br />

5.12 AC-Control box with VCS and starting current limitation<br />
An AC-Control box is necessary for the operation of Panda generators. According to the generator capacity the AC<br />
Control box is variable dimensioned and equipped. It is supplied with a lockable cap.<br />
This cap must necessarily be locked when the generator is running, as at all models during operation, 400 V is present<br />
in the AC control box.<br />
For the excitation of the generator all necessary capacitors, as well as the electrical control for the voltage/speed<br />
control VCS and the starting current limitation (not available at all models) are stored in the AC Control box. The AC<br />
Control box must be connected to the generator with the electrical lines (230V and 400V).<br />
Only qualified personnel may carry out working at the<br />
AC Control box.<br />
