5.2.3 Advice for optimal sound insulation<br />
The convenient base consists of a stable framework, on<br />
which the generator is fastened by means of shockmounts.<br />
Since the aggregate is „free“ downwards, the<br />
combustion air can be sucked in unhindered. In addition<br />
the vibrations are void which would arise with a closed<br />
capsule base.<br />
5.3 Generator Connections - Scheme<br />

All electrical wires are connected tightly to the motor and the<br />
generator. This is also the case for fuel lines and cooling water<br />
lines.<br />

Installation Instructions<br />
The electrical connections must be carried out according to the respective valid regulations. This also concerns used<br />
cable materials. The cables supplied are meant for laying „protected“ (i.e. in pipe) at a temperature up to a max. of<br />
70 ° C (160 ° F). The on-board circuit must also be fitted with all essential fuses.<br />

5.4 Installation of the cooling system - raw water<br />
5.4.1 General information<br />
The genset should have its own raw water (coolant water) inlet and should not be connected to any other engine<br />
systems. Ensure that the following installation instructions are complied with:<br />
