Thermo-switch at cylinder head<br />
The thermo-switch at the cylinder head serves to monitor the generator temperature.<br />

Thermo-switch at water-cooled exhaust elbow<br />
This thermo switch is located at the water-cooled exhaust<br />
elbow union and serves to monitor the temperature of the fresh<br />
water cooling system. It takes a measurement at the hottest<br />
spot, since the combustion gases are guided from the cylinder<br />
head for the exhaust elbow.<br />

Two thermo switches are located inside the winding to protect the generator<br />
coil, which for safety reasonsare installed independently in parallel.<br />
