05 Global Bell Time<br />
When all areas are armed, the system uses the ‘Global Bell<br />
Delay’ and ‘Global Bell Duration’ timers (see page 44 for details).<br />
Area Bell Time<br />
When all areas are armed, the system uses the ‘Area Bell<br />
Delay’ and ‘Area Bell Duration’ timers (see page 37 for details).<br />
06 - 24Hr Omit Global<br />
‘24-Hour’ type zones can be omitted from any keypad.<br />
24Hr Omit Local<br />
Only keypads assigned to the same area as the<br />
‘24-Hour’ type zones can be used to omit the zone.<br />
07 - Remove Omits<br />
When zones have been ‘Omitted’ by a user, the zones will be<br />
automatically reinstated by the system when the area they<br />
are assigned to is next disarmed.<br />
Leave Omits<br />
When zones have been ‘Omitted’ by a user, the zones will<br />
remain omitted until the user reinstates them.<br />
08 - Override Com Dly<br />
If an area is ‘Fully’ armed and an Intruder alarm occurs in that<br />
area, Intruder alarm events (for that area) are reported to the<br />
Alarm Receiving Centre immediately.<br />
Enforce Com Dly<br />
If an area is ‘Fully’ armed and an Intruder alarm occurs in that<br />
area, Intruder alarm events (for that area) are reported to the<br />
Alarm Receiving Centre after any programmed ‘Coms delay’<br />
has expired (see page 37 for details).<br />
09 - NVM is Unlocked<br />
The factory default settings can be reloaded by pressing the<br />
Factory Restart button during power up.<br />
NVM is Locked<br />
The factory default settings cannot be reloaded by pressing<br />
the factory default button during power up.<br />

If the NVM is locked and the Engineer User code has<br />
been lost or forgotten, the control panel will have to be<br />
returned to Texecom to be unlocked.<br />
10 - Engineer Only<br />
Access to the Engineers Programming menus can be<br />
obtained by just entering the Engineer User code.<br />
User + Engineer<br />
Access to the Engineers Programming mode can only be<br />
obtained, if a User (with the ‘Engineer Access’ attribute) has<br />
authorised engineer access (see page 83 for details).<br />
11 - Chime Audible<br />
Zones programmed with the ‘Chime 2 or 3’ attribute will only<br />
generate a Chime tone.<br />
Chime Visible (Default)<br />
Zones programmed with the ‘Chime 2 or 3’ attribute will<br />
generate a Chime tone. The keypad will also display the<br />
number of the zone that was activated.<br />
12 - Omit Tampers No<br />
A user cannot omit Tamper faults on a zone.<br />
Omit Tampers Yes<br />
A user can omit Tamper faults on a zone.<br />
13 - Offline Printing<br />
If a printer is plugged onto the control panel, nothing will be<br />
printed unless a printout is requested (see page 90 for<br />
details).<br />
Online Printing<br />
If a printer is plugged onto the control panel, anything that is<br />
logged in the event log is also printed at the same time.<br />
14 - Hide Act. Fault<br />
If a zone with the ‘Activity’ attribute is not activated during the<br />
‘Activity Delay’ time window, the area that the zone is<br />
assigned to can still be armed. However, this fault will be<br />
indicated to the user when they try to arm the area.<br />
View Act. Fault<br />
If a zone with the ‘Activity’ attribute is not activated during the<br />
‘Activity Delay’ time window, the area that the zone is<br />
assigned to cannot be armed. This situation can only be<br />
overcome by activating the zone.<br />
15 - Hide Exit Errors<br />
If a user tries to arm an area and there are zones activated,<br />
the exit mode will continue (giving a visual and audible<br />
indication that there is a problem).<br />
View Exit Error<br />
If a user tries to arm an area and there are zones activated,<br />
the exit mode is suspended until all of the zones are secure.<br />
16 - Enable Code Tampers<br />
24 invalid key presses on a keypad will cause a Code Tamper<br />
condition (see option 17).<br />
No Code Tampers<br />
A Code Tamper condition will never occur when the keys on<br />
a keypad are pressed more than 24 times.<br />
17 - Code Tamper Alarm<br />
A Code Tamper condition will cause a Tamper alarm in the<br />
areas that the keypad is assigned to.<br />
Code Tamper Lockout<br />
A Code Tamper condition will cause the keypad to lockout for<br />
5 minutes.<br />
18 - Areas A-H & I-P<br />
The first 8 areas will be displayed as letters A through to H and<br />
the last 8 areas will be displayed as letters I through to P.<br />
Areas 1-8 & I-P<br />
The first 8 areas will be displayed as numbers<br />
1 through to 8 and the last 8 areas will be displayed as letters<br />
I through to P.<br />
19 - Auto Area Select<br />
When an Engineers code is entered to gain access to the<br />
programming mode, ALL Zones and Tampers are disabled<br />
i.e. if any Tampers, PA, Fire or Medical Alarms are activated -<br />
NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.<br />
Man. Area Select<br />
When an Engineers code is entered to gain access to the<br />
programming mode, the Engineer will have to select which<br />
areas are going to be worked on.<br />

Zones and Tampers are only disabled for the selected<br />
areas all other areas will respond to zone activations<br />
and tampers as normal.<br />
20 - Predictive Text<br />
When in text editing mode, the control panel will<br />
automatically select predictive text.<br />

When in text editing mode, the control panel will<br />
automatically select normal text.<br />
21 - Short = Tamper<br />
The control panel will see a zone that is in the short circuit<br />
condition as a ‘Tamper’.<br />
Short = Active<br />
The control panel will see a zone that is in the short circuit<br />
condition as ‘Active’.
