These options control how various features affect each area.<br />

Any number of areas can be assigned to each option.<br />

1 - Auto Part Arm<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Auto Part Arm’ will fully arm if an<br />

‘Entry/Exit’ zone is activated during the exit mode and will<br />

‘Part Arm 1’ if an ‘Entry/Exit’ zone is not activated during the<br />

exit mode.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Auto Part’ will always fully arm.<br />

2 - Part Arm Instant<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Part Arm Instant’ will arm instantly when<br />

part arming.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Part Arm Instant’ will use the area exit<br />

timer when part arming.<br />

3 - Part Arm Silent<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Part Arm Silent’ will never generate Exit<br />

tones when part arming.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Part Arm Silent’ will always generate<br />

Exit tones when part arming.<br />

4 - Remote Arm<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Remote Arm’ can be armed remotely<br />

using the Wintex UDL software and a PC.<br />

Areas not assigned cannot be armed remotely.<br />

5 - Remote Disarm<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Remote Disarm’ can be disarmed<br />

remotely using the Wintex UDL software and a PC.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Remote Arming’ cannot be disarmed<br />

remotely.<br />

6 - Panel Tamper<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Panel Tamper’ will cause a Tamper alarm<br />

when the control panel cover is removed.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Panel Tamper’ will never cause a<br />

Tamper alarm when the control panel cover is removed.<br />

7 - Bell Tamper<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Bell Tamper’ will cause a Tamper alarm<br />

when the Bell tamper loop is broken.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Bell Tamper’ will never cause a<br />

Tamper alarm when the bell tamper loop is broken.<br />

8 - Auxiliary Tamper<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Auxiliary Tamper’ will cause a Tamper<br />

alarm when the Auxiliary tamper loop is broken.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Auxiliary Tamper’ will never cause a<br />

Tamper alarm when the auxiliary tamper loop is broken.<br />

9 - Panel Speaker<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Panel Speaker’ will cause the control<br />

panel speaker to activate when those areas are in alarm,<br />

entry and exit etc.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Panel Speaker’ will never cause the<br />

control panel speaker to activate when those areas are in<br />

alarm, entry and exit etc.<br />

10 - Bell & Strobe op<br />

Areas assigned to ‘Bell & Strobe op’ will cause the<br />

‘Bell/Strobe’ output on the control panel to activate when an<br />

alarm occurs in those areas.<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Bell & Strobe op’ will never cause the<br />

‘Bell/Strobe’ output on the control panel to activate when an<br />

alarm occurs in those areas.<br />

11 - Alarms Eng Reset<br />

Each area can be programmed for Engineer or User reset<br />

following an Intruder alarm. Areas Assigned to ‘Alarms Eng<br />

Reset’ will respond as follows:<br />

• The assigned areas can only be reset using an Engineer<br />

code<br />

If ‘Anti-code Reset’ is enabled (option 11) the assigned<br />

areas can also be reset using the Anti-code<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Alarms Eng Reset’ can be reset with<br />

any User code that is valid for those areas.<br />

12 - Confirmed Reset<br />

Each area can be programmed for Engineer or User reset<br />

following a Confirmed alarm. Areas Assigned to ‘Confirmed<br />

Reset’ will respond as follows:<br />

• The assigned areas can only be reset using an Engineer<br />

code<br />

If ‘Anti-code Reset’ is enabled (option 11) the assigned<br />

areas can also be reset using the Anti-code<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Confirmed Reset’ can only be reset<br />

with any User code that is valid for those areas providing that<br />

‘Alarms Eng Reset’ (option 11) is also programmed for user<br />

reset.<br />

13 - Tamper Eng Reset<br />

Each area can be programmed for Engineer or User reset<br />

following a Tamper alarm (when the area is unarmed). Areas<br />

assigned to ‘Tamper Eng Reset’ will respond as follows:<br />

• The assigned areas can only be reset using an Engineer<br />

code<br />

• If ‘Anti-code Reset’ is enabled (option 11) the assigned<br />

areas can also be reset using the Anti-code<br />

Areas not assigned to ‘Tamper Eng Reset’ can be reset with<br />

any User code that is valid for those areas.<br />
