Elena Hatzialexandrou graduated from the postgraduate “Film Financing, Production and Distribution”
department of the Royal College of Art in London in 1966 after completing pregraduate and postgraduate
studies in business administration. She began her career in 1985 on the board of directors of the Macedonia
Sun Hotel and continued as Marketing & Sales Administrator for Warner Roadshow Distributors. She worked
with the Papandreou S.A. company for the production of the successful films Safe Sex by Reppas-
Papathanasiou, Risotto by Olga Malea and Full Pink Ahead by Roma-Hatzisofia. In 2000 she founded the SAFE
COMPANY and produces successful films, TV series as well as documentaries.

Safe Company is a company that produces films and television series and is based in Athens. Its aim is to produce
commercial and quality audiovisual works for the Greek and international market. It was founded in
2000 by a dynamic and creative team of professionals from the audiovisual sector with long years of experience
and a successful career in theater and television. Businesswoman Eleni Hatzialexandrou on the one
hand and filmmakers Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou on the other have contributed to the completion
of successful productions for television and the cinema (Silicon Tears, Oxygen, Karabela Family, and
Safe Sex-TV Stories) while, working with professionals in the field, Safe Company recently added documentaries
to its roster.
